Other than “USB Audio” is there any other way?

Cause with my old Nothing headphone (1), it used to show nothing headphone (1) USD in sound settings. But with AirPods Max 2 it’s showing Bluetooth.

Is it how it is ?

EDIT : I just find out that even with Bluetooth turn off I can still use my AirPods Max 2 with wired audio. But it should be showing Type USB right? Instead of Bluetooth.

these buttons are not working, is anyone facing this issue. not sure if its in iOS 26.

I’ve apple care on them. I talked to apple support and even they asked me for a picture and I replied with this one. They gonna replace my AirPods Max 2 with express shipping. All I’ve to send my broken AirPods Max 2 in 10 days after I receive my replaced/new AirPods Max.

I cannot find that option like on my AirPods Pro 3 settings

EDIT : just find out that there’s no option like that on AirPods Max 2 (got to know by watching some unboxing videos)

These are way more comfortable than my previous headphones (Nothing Headphone 1), my ears fit perfectly inside the ear cup. Even these ear cups are pretty comfortable and they’re soft as butter.

Loving the sound quality (especially with wired audio, I use AM)

ANC and transparency is awesome. I own AirPods Pro 3 as well. As per sounding i feel like these are more similar to them in terms of sub bass and everything else, but better.

Just got to know that AirPods Max 2 received that EQ update by Apple in iOS 27 Beta 2

I’m gonna probably keep this purchase, ordered yesterday for 399USD on amazon. Still have 14 days to return this.

I’ll probably wait till few accidental damages which will make my phone uncomfortable to use and then I’ll do that Apple care thing.
