Question about fender dent claim

Hello Community!

I am a new StateFarm auto insurance customer with a new car (first car) covered by policy.

Unfortunately my luck run out when almost a month in, a falling wooden fence that is unmaintained and in disrepair at my condo fell off and hit my car fender some time during the night while it was parked at my designated spot.

The HOA and neighboring property dispute owning the fence (and therefore not maintaining it) so I ve given up an amicable resolution with one of them paying for my dent repair.

If I do file a claim for this event/repair and let statefarm legal team go after the HOA / neighbor..... Will this cause statefarm to rise my premiums?

Bonus question.... Will this fender dent repair make it into my vehicle history/Carfax report and causing it to lose value?

Thank you for your time and advice people!

New driver, first car, first dent... Need advice

So.... Not even a month old new-to-me..... That deteriorated wooden fence falls over in windy day and hits my car in my designated parking spot 💔

Could I get advice regarding minimizing loss of value of the car?

- paintless dent repair (PDR) vs fender replace + repaint?

- Do i even consider not using insurance to avoid Carfax hit? Or not worth the $2400+ out of pocket? (I want property management to pay for it. But I don't know it will happen)

- would this make my insurance premiums go up if I do use insurance?

- would this showing in Carfax drive the price heavily down or not so much?

Any other factors I'm not even considering?

Thanks id4 community!

Is there a proven path to transition from Automatic driving noob to Manual less-noob?

Generalist gamer here that joined the Forza Horizon fandom very recently (2 ish years ago). Since then I made my tour of all Forza Horizons from 1 through 6 and currently mostly focusing on 6 with FH3 remaining mostly incomplete in backlog (all others as complete as possible).

FH6 has made me realize, not sure why it took this long, that even if I learn tracks and practice better race lines and better in-out of turns... I will still always be smoked by drivers using manual. I'm not a competitive gamer nor I love PvP, but I'd love to at least be a fun adversary to race against, and not always end middle to lower field in every race.

I don't know if it's just in my head or what, but I have no clue how playing racing games with a controller and manual Transmission works.

Has anyone successfully navigated that transition into manual driving that cares to share advice?

Question about Carfax report on Certified Pre-owned vehicle I may purchase.

I am about to purchase an ID.4 Pro S 2024 CPO AWD. When I received the Carfax report, I found this:

"high-voltage battery replacement" (report says car was at around 13k miles at that time in October 2025.

How concerned or worried should I be for a CPO vehicle that has this change listed in its history?

Lighting the beacons for the ID4 lovers out there! We need it in Forza Horizon 6!

For the ID.4 lovers and gamers! We have got to get this car back again into the latest Forza Horizon Video game.

It made it in FH5 as seen in pics, hoping real hard that it makes a comeback for the recently released FH6.

ID4 owners experience with Android Auto?

Hello y'all! First time car buyer here, hoping to soon get an ID4. Plan right now is to aim for certified pre-owned 2024 or newer Pro S version.

Can someone share their experience with Android phones (I have a pixel 10) connecting to the car screen and seamless (or not) usage?

Thanks!

Vote for suggestion! 'Display if AERO/Wings are included or not in the Tunes browser items'

https://forzafeedback.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/44/FH6S-3076

I am an avid user of the “Find tuning” menu for my cars. The one thing that is ruining my pretty excellent user experience is that I cannot tell if a tune includes or not Rear wings (or frontal). I love the look of cars without wings in my case and its very hard to find competitive tunes that also keep the wingless look. Shoutout! for those awesome tunners that mention “no aero” or “Stock look” in their tunes!

Should people keep showing their near misses in wheelspins and super wheelspins?

I think a couple hundreds of these on day 1 is enough no? 🤣
