But those ridges are a real pain in the behind to clean. There's always some rust hiding between the bison's fur. Just sanded it down, oiled it up, and waiting to reseason in the oven

Almond Plain Toe Logging Boots in Natural Oil-grained Cowhide showcase

Just noticed from the pictures that the eyelets on the right boot seem to be slightly uneven. There are some other slight blemishes on the leather that are difficult to make out from the pictures. Overall like the look.

Got myself 6.5E based on my brannock size but probably should've gone half a size down for a better fit. Luckily it was fine after adding an insole. I've worn it maybe a dozen times but the leather around the ankle still causes some pain, is that part of the normal break in process or should I be concerned?

Need help deciding between Moctoe Roughout leathers - Chocolate, Sandstone, Hawthorne, or Olive?

Potentially looking to buy a pair and just wanted to ask about your experience with these leathers regarding care, patina, and personal preferences.

Any here have the Indiana Moctoe Boots Dark Brown Oiled Cow Hide Reverse?

[Link to store page](https://www.luosjiet.com/products/indiana-moctoe-boot-luosjiet%C2%AEboots-dark-brown-oiled-cowhide-reverse?variant=52896541475135)

I've been looking for a pair of roughout leather boots and these meet almost all my criteria (storm welt, roughout, Indiana boot), but I have some concerns about the outsole.

The outsole is made of what's called "XS 2501# Ultra Light EVA Outsole", which sounds a bit concerning because I know EVA (Ethylene-vinyl acetate) is less durable and less grippy than rubber. How does it compare to a typical rubber outsole?

People's Dispatch has merged with Breakthrough News

https://breakthroughnews.org/2026/06/02/the-billionaires-are-consolidating-their-media-now-so-are-we/

Interestingly Neville Roy Singham is a key figure behind the scenes for both organisations. He directly funds People's Dispatch and the Tricontinental Institute while also being a major backer of the PSL, which has close ties with BT News. I don't know what to make of Singham, because on one hand he is undeniably an American "tech mogul" (per the NYT), yet on the other hand he funds many socialist organisations and is universally hated by mainstream media.
