I am Episcopalian and was invited to an LDS baby blessing for one of my mom friends that just welcomed a new baby a couple weeks ago.
She asked me if I wanted to attend a “baby blessing brunch” at a restaurant close by, I said yes, and then she gave me an invite the next time I saw her that said the service is at 9 and the brunch is at 10:30.
Am I supposed to attend the service, or is that only reserved for family?
Do I need to bring a gift? What kind is appropriate for such an event?
Don’t laugh at me… am I supposed to also “bless” the baby or say a prayer for the baby in front of everyone as a guest? I’m so serious 🤣 I assume no, but I don’t want to be caught off guard.

I bought a 24mg Reta vial and 30mL bac water.
I reconstituted the 24mg vial with 3mL bac water.
For a .5 dose, I’ll do 6 units (have to eyeball it lol)
It delivered yesterday warm so I immediately put the powder and water in the fridge. I mixed them both cold today. I hear some like to mix them after they’ve sat at room temp for 15 min but I did not do that
