Am I crazy or is it shady that the dealership I take my car to for regular maintenance disconnects my dashcam?

It happened last year, but I didn’t think much of it, then again this year. The car only needed an oil change.

Shady, right?

Looking for a set of wheel for track duty. What size wheels and tires are we using on stock power? Camber plates and coilovers will come after.

I need to replace my 15yo Orbea.

Is this a good deal? I probably won’t be buying another bike for another 10 years.

$6,500 asking price. It’s a 2021 with undetermined mileage but supposedly in great condition.

Cervelo P5 that is fitted with SRAM Red Etap electronic 12 speed shifting. It has a Watt Shop cockpit along with basebar shifting. It also is disc brake. The bike is fitted to some Tubeless ready Zipp 808 Firecrest wheels. Bike is set up 1x with a quarq aero Power Meter that’s 165mm.

Picked it up brand new on Friday. Assembled it Monday. Took it for a spin for 4 miles in one hour with light running and walking at various inclines to test it all out. Worked great. No issues at all.

Started running on it again Tuesday…stopped working and smelled like smoke after 20 minutes. The power switch lights up but nothing else does. Totally dead.

Sent a service request. Received a fairly quick response asking if it was plugged into a non-GFCI outlet and if I had lubricated it and how much. I sent them a pic of the non-GFCI outlet and a screen capture of the user manual clearly stating it comes pre-lubricated and to apply lubricant every 90 hours of use.

They replied it is good practice to lubricate it because it can dry up in transit (put it in the installation instructions then!) and asked if the outlet was 110V or 120V. Not sure I can control that but I tested it and sent them a pic showing 121.4V.

Any ideas what happens next?

Are there any floor mat options similar to Weather Tech. I like their mats but they don’t offer it for manual trans G8Xs.

I got a set for an automatic G8X and trimmed it to fit but it doesn’t look good. I figured they’d make them for manuals eventually but nothing.

Any recommendations?
