Can this be fixed or best to replace?
I had my tank pumped for its two year maintenance, (I wasn’t home during my stepson was). When I got home from work the lid wasn’t properly seated, after I got it cleaned up I found this chip in the lid. I’m going to call the company on Monday, but since I wasn’t there I’m sure they will dispute the claim.

What is this fella or gal
It flew away just after taking this picture so I couldn’t get a good look at its face. I assume it is a moth because of how it flew. Never seen this before. This is in Maryland.
