Circe by Madeleine Miller

I recently read Circe by Madeleine Miller and when I got to the part where she borrows Trygon's tail I was very intrigued about this god cause I had never heard of him before, but when I looked him up I found out that he only appears in this book. Are there other parts of the story that aren't in the original myths?

How can I give my Betta a better life?

When my sister wanted a Betta fish, we got a small tank. My mom said it was just a temporary tank, but now my sister doesn't even look at the fish and my mom said that she isn't buying a bigger tank for him. I know that he needs more space, plants, a filter and more stuff. I already tried explaining it to my mom but she doesn't listen to me.

I feed him 2 pellets in the morning and another one in the afternoon. I taught him to follow my finger. I talk to him pretty often so he doesn't feel alone. I tried drawing things on his tank but he's scared of the marker so I stopped. He had 2 plastic plants in his tank but I replaced them with a plant they gave me at the aquarium.

I want him to be happy and healthy but I don't know what else I can do since I can't get him a bigger tank. I would really appreciate some advice.
