Frogtober Days 6 thru 9

More froggy goodness! This time it's days 6 (royalty), 7 (hell), 8 (sparkle), and 9 (circus). More uv work on the clown for his romper, I'm starting to have fun playing with those now. Also did some actual node editing for the first time in the shader to get the sparkly material for that magical girl transformation frog. All work done in Blender. Royalty frog took the longest just because of the complexity of his outfit, so many little pieces that did not want to go where I wanted them to go.

I'm using a low poly base mesh for the frog, with a multires and shrinkwrap on it, so it's making the rigging faster. I don't sculpt in pose, but use an A frame instead and pose it all afterwards. I don't use rigify, just a basic armature. Someday I will learn to rig properly, but it is not this day.

Brush Bug

Crocheting again for the first time in months. What a way to find out your local yarn store doesn’t carry the brand you use anymore lol. Pattern is by Sophia Pons. I ended up using a plastic armature instead of a wire, and (accidentally) slightly over stuffing him, so he’s not as poseable as I’d like. He’s about two feet long, made with chenille and then has faux fur surface crocheted on to make him fuzzy. Just the fur took about ten hours ._.;

Lizards Galore

Started trying to make a cartoony iguana, and once I finally had the proportions figured out I continued on to other various lizards. Mostly going for ones with a recognizable silhouette rather than based on colours, for printing purposes. Some day I’ll learn UVs instead of vertex painting but today is not that day. They’re all done in blender, which I’ve been working with for about four years now I think, mostly self taught. Anyway, these make me happy, so I wanted to share.

Dez - Haranir Druid

I main a bear tank named Dez that I recently racechanged to Haranir, and she needed some new art. I prefer the umbraclaw over the pangobear so I added some quills to tie it into her racial aspects better. I think I meant to add a couple turquoise feathers as well but I forgot lol
