Build or buy? 11.5” Upper Receiver Group

Shopping around for a 11.5” upper, but I’m kinda wanting to go toward building my rifle.

Kinda like PC Part Picker, I’d like to use a website (if it exists) that functions like that, but for AR’s. Yes, I’ve googled it bro, but all of the options are not user friendly, or it’s bugged and says out of stock.

My next question is, is it cheaper to build or to buy? I also don’t know what I’m really asking for, so maybe opinions and suggestions will be better.

Jim Green 719 Boots in Bronco Brown.

I purchased and these are just a little too much for me. I have only worn them for two days, so no signs of extreme wear.

The bottoms are good, but there’s one spot where I stepped on a piece of tape, and left a small area of residue. This does not impact the bottom area of the boot or its use. It should wear with more wear.

Will include free FedEx shipping to upper 48 US. $180

Brand new boots. Just wore them for about 4 hours straight and felt like I could keep going. Best boots I’ve ever had that were actually comfy out of the box. The break in may be not so painful after all. These fit so much better than my 719’s from JG. Great boots from JG, but man, these are just beautiful. I’m a fan for life now. I’m looking forward to walking in these for a long time!

Hey all!

just purchased my first pair of iron rangers. love the way they look! my question is about the sizing. I used the tool online to figure out what my size was. it spit out that I am a 8 W US Men’s, but went up a half size instead.

my true to size is 10 US Men’s in all of my shoes. I know heritage boots are a little different.

questions are, is arch hang over something that’s normal? my foot just spills over like crazy on the welt. toe room seems to be fine, I believe I have about a thumbs width to work with, maybe a little less. should I go up half a size to a 9?

At first, I started with a 9.5 US. Everything was great, except my toes touching the toe box every time I took a step. Switched to a 10 (which is my true to size fit) and they’re spot on. 0 discomfort right out of the box. These boots are probably the most comfortable pair of boots I’ve ever tried on, other than my Ariat work boots. The Bronco Brown will be great for work, and the office as well.
