Bought Aritzia Crepette Effortless pants and the zipper keeps showing… it’s supposed to be my size, am I the problem???

I bought the Aritzia crepette effortless in size 8 (I’m a 29, normally always wear size 8 in bottoms and fits just fine), and when I lay it flat its fine but when I wear it, the zipper is visible and it very clearly juts out? But it doesn’t feel tight at all?

I am a little embarrassed and sad. Is this the wrong size for me or is something wrong with the one I bought? I’d like to return it for a different item but it was a gift from my friend and the purchase window is passed/I don’t have the receipt, so even if I brought it in store, I’m not sure if there is much I can do.

Best cafes with GOOD ambience to do work in?

Hi all,

Currently in Fort Lee area (used to be more towards Oradell) and on the hunt for a cafe that fits all of my boxes. A goldilocks if you will.

I honestly didn’t think it’d be this hard to find a cafe that has everything I want but tbh the closest one I’ve found is a liiiiiittle too far for my taste, so if anyone has any suggestions that would be highly appreciated.

My criteria for a perfect cafe to work remotely in:

- Has nice lighting/not in a complete box with no windows
- Has free wifi
- Has decent parking/a parking lot (no metered/annoying parking, I’m looking at you Pal Park cafes on Broad Ave)
- Not too far (furthest I’ll realistically go is Paramus - for context my favorite cafe so far has been Gregory’s Coffee)
- Preferably has a mix of decent drinks and food in case I get hungry lolol

Thank you!

Recent BFA Design grad, 300+ applications, 10+ interviews and 0 offers - what am I doing wrong?

Hi Reddit,

I've been job hunting for full-time design (fashion design/graphic design)/marketing (social media marketing, digital marketing) adjacent roles the past couple months and I'm starting to feel like there's something wrong with my applications or myself as a designer. I would really appreciate some insight or proper advice on what to do, so I can make myself stand out more as a candidate.

Some further context:

  • BFA in Design, graduated May 2026
  • Currently applying to roles that are ranging from design, creative project management, marketing, retail, etc (3 different resumes that I slightly tweak based on the positions)
  • Have 3 strong references and write cover letters/submit for every application

I've gotten to final-round a few times, but I haven't found luck with anything concrete. I had one response where the company recruiter told me they'd like to hire me, but later in a few months at best as they don't have the bandwidth to hire and train a junior designer as they are very busy in the fashion industry.

Unfortunately it has become very frustrating, and I don't know ATP if I'm doing something wrong, or if it's the current job market. Not sure if it's my resume, portfolio, cover letter, me, and I would love some advice it would mean a lot.

My website: https://zionlimdesign.com/portfolio (currently actively working on the mobile design but should work fine on web)

My LinkedIn profile: https://www.linkedin.com/in/zion-lim/

My resume: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XsnnmSqKcoeR6KnD73y2KoOH87_8Lzn0/view?usp=sharing

My cover letter template: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Z2MsHIKPJQ6zE381mt4nGYF-6v_jch_v/view?usp=sharing

Thank you! Much appreciated.
