LinkedIn recruiter pings

Im sure all of us get pinged on LinkedIn by recruiters that will say two lines about a role asking to set up a call and give no other specifics - location, hybrid/on-site/remote or even a salary range.
I’m in CA that requires to post salary ranges.
I don’t want to waste time on the best of opportunity if that means relocating, moving from my current hybrid to onsite, or a salary range that is no where close to my expectation.
I’m curious is this an acceptable response to such requests?

Thanks for reaching out, I’m interested in learning more about the opportunity.
Before we jump into the call to go over details, can you please provide the location, work environment (hybrid, on site, remote) and the salary range for this opportunity.

GC delays in Contract

As we are going through GC contracts it’s pretty standard for them to have a late fee on their payment schedule.
So we have been considering adding a back payment for every week delay (say after a 4 week buffer from the published schedule) for the GC.
This is coming from a poor experience in the past and now we are going on a larger scale project so have huge concerns with delays and those tail end things dragging forever.
My question is has anyone successfully negotiated this into their GC contract? If yes, then how and what were the details? Thanks.

Renovation Material sourcing

If you have remodeled your bathroom, kitchen, added lighting through your home - please share your recommendations for sources on hardware and materials (think kitchen counter tops, cabinets, cupboards, recess lights, designer lighting, flooring, handles/pulls, main entry door,…etc etc)
I am feeling so overwhelmed and a lot of decision fatigue. Would be good to know what would you have pushed out after the main work is done (for e.g. I was thinking to get the connections for a main chandeliers/center piece lighting but then choose it in my own time in sort of round 2)
Additionally, please share if you have used any designer for both interiors and landscaping a large lot and designing a pool/ADU/pool house. Looking for referrals. Or if you were brave enough to use an AI app.

Floor addition

Looking to understand how did you go about adding square footage through adding a whole floor level above your existing house. What was your first step? Structural engineer to evaluate the foundation? We are just trying to understand how to go about doing this. We want to get the evaluation, design, permits and maybe even order materials before moving into a rental. If you have done the same, please share how you go about this and how was your experience. Do you have any recommendations on Architect, engineer, GC etc? Thanks
