Hey,
I want to start making chainmail, for a first project probably a small decorative headpiece or something in that direction. Now, my question is, what kind of wire should i use, what kind of metal and thickness is best for a beginner, and do you know of a good supplier which is located in europe(preferably germany?) I do a lot of sewing and for sewing/crocheting etc there are always patterns available which you can use as a guideline. Do things like this exist for chainmail art?
