I broke the office’s EKG machine!

I’ve been having a not so good day and then this happens! I broke the damn thing while doing an EKG on a patient. The good thing is the patient didn’t even realize because he fell asleep.

The paper was coming out with wrinkles so I decided to try to open the lid to check it out. I don’t know what I did but I broke the plastic and the thing flew out of my hand onto the wall.

I obviously brought this to my manager’s attention and she was like “What did you do? I’ll guess I’ll have to order a new one”

I’ve been really hard on myself for this and I know I shouldn’t because it was an accident but ugh…!!!
