Need a new system/collective name!

Looking for something virtual pet inspired that specifically avoids the word 'pet'! Most of us are people, we only have one animal. But I'm going for the vibe that our brain is a device that has a bunch of nurturable characters on, like a tamagotchi. And instead of having 'system' at the end we'd like the word 'device' or '-gotchi!' I'd love to hear ideas and we can't wait to redo our intros for our new little aesthetic lol, we all love themeing our pages and stuff!

No, you shouldn't engage with your prey drive like that.

Full disclosure. I don't mean you shouldn't simulate hunting with toys, snacks, or plushies. No, I don't mean you can't have a hunting license. I've seen one too many posts by therians stating they chase small animals to engage their prey drive for genuinely no other reason than enjoyment. Here's why I think there is genuinely no excuse for this behavior. You do not need to chase that animal. You have food in your fridge or cabinets or whatever else where you live. If not, you have a food bank nearby, im sure. Domestic animals like dogs and cats stimulate their prey drive with toys instead of hunting a lot of the time too. There's no excuse for not being able to do the same. You also are not immune to rabies. Many small wild animals carry the horrifying, practically incurable, terminal disease. They WILL attack for no reason if you approach as one form of rabies causes aggressive behavior. And, scariness aside: animals can quite literally die of fear. It's particularly noted in birds (called a dread flight), and rabbits can die of stress from just being flipped on their back. You think a big scary YOU chasing it won't kill it from stress too? Wild animals don't have the cushy life we do, they need to stay loaded on energy and calories to survive. Energy wasted running from you could have been used running from an actually hungry predator. Not to mention, emotionally torturing wildlife for fun is the opposite about caring for the environment. There is genuinely no excuse for the behavior. You can show some self control, or at the very least try to. Respect the nature you are a part of.

Long time AJC player moving to AJ, what is there to do?

As an 11 year old, I was addicted to animal jam classic. Healing my inner child by nowadays getting addicted to this new animal jam as a younger adult! What is there to do? What should I be doing? I've played around a little bit but really feeling a little stumped! I've heard you can get sapphires without paying, I really want one of the dinosaur pets (dinosaur autism win!) So help with how to save up for one would be incredible. I'll happily share my username if anyone wants to be buddies.

Avian gear??? Sparrow!

Hi! As one of my 'types, I'm an eurasian tree sparrow. I've scoured etsy for hours and can't seem to find any gear for avians such as myself. A mask or tail would be lovely, and I'm even open to jewelry and shoe/glove modifications. If anyone can point me to some shops (not comfortable buying off someone without being able to read reviews!) preferably on etsy, I would be very grateful!!!
