What’s one thing you wish a grow app actually did well?

I’ve been working on a grow app called Cannabis Planner and I’m trying to make it actually useful, not just another place to dump notes.

The idea is to help plan and track the whole grow from seed to cure — feeding schedules, custom schedules, watering/feeding intervals, grow timeline, and target conditions for each stage/week.

It also calculates nutrient amounts based on how much water you actually give, which was one of the main things I wanted for my own grows.

I added a few screenshots so it’s easier to show what I mean than explain everything in text.

I know there are already a lot of grow apps out there, so I’m curious:

If you use grow apps, what’s one thing you wish they did better?
Or what’s one feature you’d actually find useful?

65 photos, one tiny world – Sundae Driver trichomes on Day 50

Here's a focus stack of my Sundae Driver from Royal Queen Seeds, taken on Day 50 of flower.

This image is made from 65 individual photos stacked together at approximately 3.9x magnification to increase the depth of field.

Most trichomes are cloudy with only a few still clear, so she's getting close but not quite there yet. I'll keep checking every few days to see how the amber develops.

Growing organically in living soil.

What do you think—how many more days would you give her?

Watching 21 Days of Growth in 40 Seconds Was Surprisingly Relaxing

I've been working on a Sundae Driver timelapse project and reviewing the footage reminded me why growing has become such a relaxing hobby for me.

For me, cannabis wellness isn't only about the final product. It's also about the process. Spending a few minutes each day checking on the plants, observing their progress, and documenting their growth helps me slow down and disconnect from everyday stress.

This timelapse covers 21 days of flowering, from day 32 to day 53. Watching weeks of development compressed into seconds gave me a new appreciation for how much is happening, even when growth seems slow from day to day.

One thing I've learned from growing is the value of patience. The biggest changes often happen when you stop looking for immediate results and simply trust the process.

How does cannabis fit into your wellness routine? Is it the plant itself, the act of growing, or something else that helps you relax and unwind?

Sundae Driver - Flower Timelapse (Part 1)

This timelapse covers 21 days of flower, starting on day 32 and ending on day 53.

Over 2,000 photos were captured at 15-minute intervals to show how much changes during what often feels like the "slow" part of flowering.

It's always surprising to see how quickly the buds swell and how the plant transforms when weeks are compressed into seconds.

Part 1 of a larger timelapse project that will continue through harvest.

Sundae Driver - Day 44 Flower | Recovery, Frost & Stretch ❄️🌱

Day 44 of flower on this Sundae Driver and she's been an interesting one so far.

Had some nutrient issues early in flower and then I had to leave for vacation, so there wasn't much I could do except watch her through a webcam and hope for the best. 😅

She recovered surprisingly well, stretched harder than expected, and is now starting to put on some frost and stack nicely.

This grow has been more about learning and experimenting than chasing yield, and it's been fun watching how the plant responds along the way.

What do you think? How does she look for day 44? 👀🌱❄️

25 Days Since Flip – Trying To Keep This Sundae Driver Dialed In 🌱

25 days since flip on this Sundae Driver run.
Growing has honestly become one of the few things that really slows my brain down after work. Dialing in the environment, checking the plants every day and watching the stretch develop has turned into a pretty relaxing routine for me.

This one is in a 10L pot with a hybrid living soil / organic setup and the stretch has been pretty aggressive so far, around 50 cm.

Lately I’ve been trying to stay more consistent with VPD and DLI during flower instead of just reacting to problems later.

Curious how much attention you guys pay to environment numbers during stretch and early flower? Or do you mostly just read the plant?

Sundae Driver Stretch Went Crazy (Days 12–16) 📈🌱

RQS Sundae Driver stretching 8–10 cm per day on day 16 of flip 😳🌱

Day 16 since flip on my RQS Sundae Driver and the stretch is getting wild 😅

For the first ~10 days after flip she was only growing a few cm per day, but over the last couple of days she suddenly started exploding with growth — around 8–10 cm daily now.

I’m actually on vacation right now, so I’ve been watching the growth through my webcam feed and it’s crazy seeing the difference every single day 😂

Really curious to see how much more stretch is left before she settles into flower. Anyone else had their Sundae Driver stretch this hard around week 2? 🌱
