I wanted to do more character work instead of just a theme, so I went with a Joker custom and used the little Joker Jumpman pins I got a few years ago on the tongue. I also included nods to his prison number (the 0801 version), Joker-fish, and the pet hyenas.
I used a rotary tool to carve the claw marks into the leather and sole of the shoe, then painted it red so it pops.

I got the Idea from flame and skull decals on muscle cars and ran with it.
There are quite a few pics here, but considering the condition of some of these comics, is it worth it to get them graded for sale?

I used a wood-burning tool to carve cracks into the leather. I ran thinned-out white paint through the cracks, then airbrushed orange, red, and hints of yellow for a glow effect. I did the same thing for the leather tongue and added a stencil to the laces for a rock effect.
