FAC and penalty points

Good evening,

I have been shooting for close to 2 years and applied for my face a year and 6 month ago.

I’m very worried as I have points on my licence but other than that a clean record

Has anyone ever been in the same or similar situation, I’m really worried I’ll get denied because of it,

Thank you !

Secondary loss infliximab question ?

Hey guys long story short ,

Been on infliximab infusions since November 2025 and they have been amazing for me until the start of June where symptoms started to return,

June 1 untill now I’ve been hospitalised twice due to all symptoms comming back, I’ve steroids , started pred came back in 2 days ago because I had a high fever that left me uncontrollably shaking ( turned out to be covid lol ) lucky me , had 2 flexible sigmoids to check what’s going on, first one showed I’m inflamed obviously but the second one I had today showed it was getting better so the emergency infliximab dose and steroids I had when I first admitted were obviously doing something and most importantly my Infliximab trough levers are very good.

Dr now has basically said we either switch you on to infliximab injections or new medication completely… just wanted to know if anyone has ever been in the same position… and i always thought wouldn’t it make sense to try up the dosage / frequency of the infusions first instead of changing the delivery system first thank you

1 year old High temp all day UK

My baby girl is 1 next month and in the uk there is a terrible heatwave at the moment, she hasn’t been here self all night and has had a temperature of 38-39 all day and have been rotating carpol and just gave neurofin … granted her first bottom tooth has just come out and the other is making a appearance and she is constipated so I’m trying to worry and attribute it to teething but she’s just not happy. She’s eating and drinking as normal though so I’m so confused… I know an and e is going to be filled with the same thing Finn it kids that are even worse off… any advice ?

Infliximab and flare ?

Hey guys hope your well, just wanted some opinions and to see if anyone has gone through or is what I am, just to clarify I’m NOT looking for medical advice thank you !

Diagnosed with pancolitus in February 2023, multiple pred tapers and mesalmine failing led me to November 2025.

So I’ve been on infliximab infusions 5Mg/KG every 8 weeks since November 2025 and have definitely felt it was working quite well.

While in remission this is what it looks like :

1-2 solid BM’s a day
No urgency
No Frequency
No Nausea
No Vomiting

I was never really a huge bleeder but of course when I’m flaring I do see a little.

So since starting the infusions after about 4- 5 months I have noticed as a lot do that nearing the end of the dose I’m not feeling the best and can slightly feel symptoms comming back.

Fast forward to around 4 weeks ago, I start getting all my symptoms back with a vengeance, the frequency came back, from 1-2 to 6+ BM’s I would feel like I have a huge load to get rid of but only mucous and little bit of blood would come out. Which I really would love more insight of because I don’t get where the poop is going ?

Alongside my main symptom that I hate most which is the extreme nausea.

Went to A&E 3 times in 3 weeks to try get this sorted as I knew something was not right and I have 2 babies and a lot of responsibilities to be dealing with and the problem when I’m in a flare I can not function, my body just does not work and the nausea, not eating, incomplete BM’s just don’t help. I couldn’t just leave it unchecked so on the third I finally got admitted. They ruled o it any infections, noro etc.

They took bloods to do a antibodies test and infliximab levels test as well as doing a sigmoidoscopy which confirmed that there was inflammation and started me on IV steroids on Friday as well as another infliximab infusion as I was due one in 10 days. They told me to see if my symptoms were improving over the weekend and they had been improving sort of so I was put on oral pred course and discharged Monday afternoon.

Dr thinks that the infliximab is doing its job but dose just needs to be upped and of course this will be confirmed with the antibodies test as well as the infliximab level test which take a week to come back but has strongly suggested I move to injections as they will hopefully be keeping me at a constant level instead of just giving me one huge dose all at once.

I just want to hear if anyone has ever been in the same or similar position.. so upset and feel like this flare will never finish.. thank you for the read

Question about Flare while on infliximab ? Incomplete BM’s Slithery poop?

Curious to hear if anyone has experienced or is experiencing what I am…

Got diagnosed with UC pancolitus in February 2023

( reason I post here is because they also are not sure if it’s just uc or Chrons colitis as it might of changed since )

My flare symptoms were :
Extreme nausea , like sick to the stomach type
Vomiting ( a lot of the time dry heaving )
Increased BM’s ( as well as getting very loose)
Not Bloody Mary poops but still bits of blood
Weight loss
Increased BM frequency

As I was saying Got diagnosed in 2023, put on pred and mesalmine tablets and from then until date I had 3-4 extreme flares where all above symptoms came back and each time Pred was prescribed and got me back to normal until the next episode.

So last flare started around July 2025 ( when my daughter was born ) (extreme stress is what I think brings on my major flares if interested to know ), started the pred but came to the end of the course and it was not working as it usually did so around sept / nov I was hospitalised as I started experiencing pains in my stomach as well as the rest of my usual symptoms. They ruled the pain as fecal back up, was there for a few days of laxatives, fluids, iV steroids and we we started on infliximab infusions while in hospital with regards to the UC side.

It has been a good success, 1-2 solid BM’s a day which was my normal before UC, no nausea, no pain, no vomiting.

I had a little blip in march this year where I woke up very nauseas, and would be for the rest of the day, BM’s increased slightly but were still solid (a little softer but still solid ) also was vomiting bile in the mornings.

I thought damn please don’t tell me it’s not working but after 4 days things pretty much sorted them self out…

Fast forward to now. It’s been. Nearly 2 weeks

Extremely nauseas all day, BMS have increased from 2 times a day to around 6-7 times as well as urgency is back. Seen mucus, and maybe red tinge a couple of times The problem now with my BM’s is that I feel the urge to go but only the tiniest bit comes out. And this repeats all day. So I went Hosptial because I don’t like to leave it un checked,

Bloods fine , no inflammation markers or anything abnormal
2 stool samples given in, one for infections and the other for Faecal cal protectin levels. The infections one came back clear and I’m still waiting on the FCP one to come back

Normally how I know for sure I’m in a flare as many others, I do the Faecal cal protectin test, it shows inflammation or not then we move on from there.

So the nausea and no appetite absolutely kill me, like it’s so extreme but on top of that now this symptom that I can only describe as, let’s say my nausea kind of tolerates a day where I can sort of eat, let’s say I ate a good amount of food as in breakfast lunch and dinner ( tiny portions but that’s a good day , normally I can’t eat anything all day while flaring) but yeah so let’s say I had the 3 small meals a day, when it’s time to go to the toilet and you should be evacuating it all, only about 1 % comes out in a slither and stops like WHERE IS THE OTHER 95% ?

I have theories,

Did my nausea start again because I’m not emptying my bowels completely ?

Am I backed up which is causing me to feel the nausea and tiny slither bowl movements ? Even though I’ve had at home laxatives for a week and still felt the same… ?

Does the infliximab need to be increased or frequency to be increased ?

Is this just a another “blip” which will pass ( which I don’t think so ) if it was just the nausea I would say hmm okay somethings not right but it’s the nausea coupled with the irregular slither BM’s

Started infliximab in Oct 2025, had some questions regarding symptoms/ upping dose?

Just want to start by saying I am going to the Dr and have an appointment booked.. just looking for personal experiences maybe to ease my nerves and generally curious

Hey guys, so I started infliximab 3 loading doses and then 8 week infusions after as usual.. worked a treat but then in March I had a little “blip for about a week where I got some pervious symptoms back and my symptoms are extreme nausea, vomiting and increased BM’s and literately can’t move or function

It got better after a week so I chalked it up to maybe something bad I ate .

Fast forward from that point untill now, I was only having 1 BM a day as my normal routine, but then it increased to 2 and they sort of got a little mushier from being solid.

Bringing us to this week where I’m so upset, woke up vomiting, stools increased to about 4-5 and the problem is I feel like I’m not evacuating properly at all, it will be a few slithers if that.. what led me to starting infliximab was obviously mesalmine was failing and got out on pred like 4-5 time but also I had a new symptom of pain in my stomach that I never had which led me to get hospitalised and apparently I had fecal back up ?

Sorry I know I’m all over the place I haven’t slept I have 2 kids under 2 and no wider family support so the stress probably isn’t helping too but my wife is definitely supportive and does her share but what I want to know is

  1. How did you know you needed to up your dose of biologic ( as in what were your symptoms) as I know you need to take a antibody test to be sure

  2. Has anyone had this feeling of being backed up causing symptoms to increase? So to describe it for example let’s say I ate 1kg of food, I’m only seeing maybe 100g of it in the toilet if that makes sense. So I know there must be something left inside but I am taking laxatives for the past 2 days to see if that helps

My theory which I. Hope is the case is slowly I’ve been getting backed u over the weeks /months just as I did last then boom.. but again I don’t know… I’m just scared to be in a flare again as it completely debilitates me…

Thank you for your advice / time reading
