Spotted this beautiful sun-dappled maple on my walk today and was just totally struck by the light green on top (sun scorch?) contrasting against the regular green colour.
I’d never seen this before (plus the thicker trunk and density of the leaves) and couldn’t place the name!
Really enjoyed watching this (by YouTuber ShowMeTheMeaning). Great way to spend 20 minutes reliving the magic of the Miniseries and “33” and definitely made me add BSG to the front of my rewatch list!
I've been living in a detached home in East York for about a year now (built in the 1920s, fully gutted around 20 years ago), and our air circulation to the 2nd floor isn't great. It gets super hot in the summer, and super cold in the winter.
I've heard some HVAC companies provide an 'air balancing' service where they measure flow levels, and try to adjust your internal ductwork to optimize things.
It's been a bit hard trying to find companies that do this, so I'm wondering is this a thing, and does anyone have recommendations?
