sad (but still excited) do we think there will be a restock?

As the rest of us, I’m SUPER excited for her upcoming album… it’s happening way sooner than anticipated! I’m from the US. I have a CD collection and would LOVE to add a signed version of angel to it. I did already pre-order the regular CD version (still grateful and excited) but was wondering if anyone thinks they might restock in the future? I’m hoping so! I know they restocked signed CD’s with Role Model’s new album. fingers crossed! anywho, any specific tracks you’re hoping to hear in this release? I’m excited for the new single!!! ⊹** **˖

any way to access the handbook/covid policies?

i’ve been sick and out of work since Tuesday (was only scheduled 2 days in the later part of the week & i worked earlier in the week), I still tested positive and pretty strongly yesterday. I know/have a feeling they expect me to go back on Monday… but I am still not feeling great.

I just wanted to know what the policy/best way to go about this would be? The handbook/policies would be my guess but not sure how to access it outside of work. I reached out to my SM yesterday about the test and she hasn’t responded? We’re poorly understaffed (like the majority of us) and don’t want to be blamed or affected negatively by this.

I’ve already had to work while sick in the past, let alone with covid. We have a lot of older customers and I would hate to put this sickness upon them or my coworkers.

It’s all just anxiety inducing, I’m already sick, I don’t need more stress. Anywho, if anyone has any tips, suggestions or rants, they are appreciated!

Thanks a bunches ⋆˙

old at home test was positive, not sure what to do

I’m 23, someone who started feeling sick after I started feeling sick, tested positive. I took an old at home test that supposedly expired in ‘24? It was positive. I tried reaching out to my local clinic and they probably won’t get back to me until tomorrow.

My symptoms have really only been that of a cold. sore throat, congestion, body temp regulation stuff, maybe some body aches, light neck tension ache. nothing too bad? the first few days I really felt it. today is day 3 of feeling sick, obviously I don’t feel 100% but better than day 1 or 2 for sure.

I started amoxicillin last night as a nurse practitioner thought it was just a cold! I’ve been trying to just rest and drink fluids!

I’m hoping it doesn’t progress but this is the third time ever i’ve gotten covid (last time back in ‘23 or something) and i’m hoping I don’t have to but when taking Paxlovid I would get chest pain and brain zaps while taking it :/

i already deal with multiple mental health and physical conditions like light asthma(not often an issue), fatigue, fibromyalgia, psoriasis and pcos/pmos… i really don’t need any lingering effects from this time around :’)

all this to say, any tips to get through this? i just hate getting sick, let alone having covid :’)

thanks you all who read this, appreciate you 🫶

can’t think about anything else

I’m literally at work and all I can think about is Phoebe’s return show today. I really hope no one ruins or goes against the venue (and phoebe’s) wishes. I don’t know if that would affect her putting new music (or even doing shows again.) I know we’re all excited but hasn’t Phoebe had some really bad experiences w people overstepping? Hopefully everyone who goes is able to really experience it and be present. Anywho, just some things on my mind… do we think she’ll play some new music? what’s everyone’s favorite (or top 3) songs?! Mine are Garden Song, Waiting Room and Savior Complex.

i’m about to hit my year with Sally’s as a rehire on my birthday… i’ve had an interesting experience which has reminded me why I left in the first place, the management (or lack thereof) sucks. There’s only 3 BA’s (including myself) and a stand-in manager. As i’ve been dealing with health issues, i’m reminded how I want more to my life than retail and overall this company. I’ve considered going back to school (even just online) to work towards more with my future.

I was originally hired to be working 10 to 15 hours a week (usual BA hours at my store). at the time I was open to it, my family and I live under govt benefits, so it didn’t clash too much. within the past six months or so, I started working 20-25+ hours/wk… and we just got notice that our rent went up by $400 and other aid went down because i’m ’making too much’

I can’t deal with the stress, nor do I want it to get put on my family. I want to pursue school and get the benefits sorted, but I would need serious accommodations (reduced hours)… i HIGHLY doubt they will accommodate me. I don’t even know how I could bring it up.

I enjoy this place, the job itself isn’t bad. it’s the company and lack of urgency to not have hired anyone else within the past 6 months. I’m a CC now but my coworkers and I are exhausted and burnt out. I feel restricted as though I can’t work less or leave to pursue more, because I feel ‘guilty’ leaving the other 2 girls without anyone… i know it’s not my responsibility (and i know we’re not getting paid enough to care) but my empathy is eating away and I just feel stuck. I know there are other jobs, but is it worth staying and trying to bring it up to the stand in SM, to ask for accommodations?

any thoughts?

TIA to all who read this :’)
