My account got temporarily suspended a few days ago, and after sending them account statements verifying my id and stuff, i get this email:

Based on your account activity on our platform, we regret to inform you that Wealthsimple can no longer maintain a business relationship with you. As such, your account has been restricted, effective immediately and will be permanently closed. This also means you will not be able to open or access any accounts across our platform.

 

Please note this decision is final and based on Wealthsimple’s terms and conditions as outlined in one or more of the following sections:

Wealthsimple Investments Inc. - Client Account Agreement Section 5 Subsection X

Wealthsimple Investments Inc.- Crypto Account Agreement Section 12

Wealthsimple Cash - User Agreement Section 17

Wealthsimple Tax - User Agreement Section 14

Wealthsimple Inc. - Discretionary Management Agreement Section 25

We will not be providing further information on this decision or responding to disputes.

Anyone here have experience with car insurance fault disputes?

I was involved in a car accident, and the insurance company originally found me 0% at fault, 1.5 months mater they reversed the decision and made me 100% at fault.

They are nitpicking a certain frame in the dashcam footage that is several seconds before the accident occurs.

I was travelling in a roundabout with 2 lanes:

my lane (right lane) allowed me to go either straight or left

the other parties lane (left lane) allowed them to only go left.

The other party went straight, instead of taking the allowed exit, and i took the left which i was allowed to take.

They are blaming me, bc i crossed a dotted line. the roundabout had guide lines for those who are going straight, and in order to take a left, which i was allowed to, i had to go over that dotted line.

I have all the dashcam footage, and birds eye view pics of the roundabout.

any help would be greatly appreciated

I had to verify stuff with persona, like my id and face too.

anyone here have experience with an insurance claim fault allocation?

I was originally found not at fault, then a couple months later they reversed that decision over something that shouldn’t matter.
