THCA, THCP, Delta-8, Delta-10, gone. What sales are around Dallas?

Hi y'all. This Friday July 31st, Texas is banning the sale of most THC products entirely. Seltzers, tonics, vapes, gummies, the 5.5 billion dollars / yr industry is going to collapse. And thousands of liquor stores, smoke shops, gas stations, thousands of small businesses and tens of thousands of employees will foreclose and be let go.

THC sales now consume around 20-25% of the market, making 5.5 billion a year while alcohol makes around 15 billion a year. This is millions of people, thousands of businesses. Yet our 15 state representatives are almost entirely against THC and want it outlawed entirely. Being lobbied by Jack Daniels and Smirnoff and all, to the tune of millions, commanding control of their empires.

By this Friday, hundreds of products will need to be thrown away entirely. Businesses will foreclose. Employees will be fired. People will get hurt. And it doesn't have to be this way.

I am just asking for a delay of the ban until the federal decision on November 12th.

A delay gives these businesses ample time to sell their remaining product and have a better chance at surviving the drought. This quick ban is inadequate, and will cause serious damage.

My posts have been banned by mods in other Texas city subreddits. There's no donations here, no money, no politics no nothing, there are thousands of businesses about to go bankrupt in 2 days. And millions of lives on the line at a very critical time.

Hey y'all, on Friday after a 21 day warning, all THC products are being banned from sale in the state of Texas. This is not what the people want, as evidenced by how THC sales are now a 5.5 billion dollar a year industry, with alcohol being 15 billion a year.

With such a short notice, thousands of liquor stores, grocery stores, gas stations, smoke shops, and other small businesses are going to go under. Faced with thousands of dollars of loss overnight, thousands of employees will be fired, and many stores will foreclose.

I've put a way to contact our lawmakers here on my website, as well as more information. There has to be something we can do! Almost all 15 of our state elected officials are very anti-weed. They do not represent us. And there's nothing we can do. We can just watch thousands of hard working people get fired, and our favorite stores close down.
