So I was under the impression that even though a channel is in "scan list 1", for example, you still need to assign the list on the channel as well. I'm trying to figure out if this is possible. To have 1 channel BE SCANNED on every channel except for that 1 channel. Then when on that channel be able to scan all of there other channels. Word salad i know. Basically Channel A-E will only scan channel F but when you're on channel F to be able to scan channels A-E. I didn't think this was possible because you need to assign the list to the channel in order for it to be scanned.

So I have a customer who is licensed for 5 simplex frequencies. As it stands they are using all 5 of these frequencies in their current channel lineup. They purchased 4 new R7's and want to add two additional channels using two of the existing frequencies. Will adding two new group call contacts and using a different color code be enough or will there be issues? I've floated using dual capacity direct mode but the issue there is that enabling it in these 4 new portables and not in their existing subscribers makes it not possible for these new ones to communicate to the subscribers that do not have that enabled. Hopefully I explained this well enough. Appreciate any insight.

So I check my bank account pretty regularly and the other day I noticed a pending CREDIT that read “Mastercard cash reward rebate”. This is a checking account not a credit card so I found that to be strange. Called my bank and the gentleman I spoke with was just as confused as I was. Told me it could be some sort of third party rebate type thing but it definitely wasn’t them. Fast forward to today and after the transaction has cleared it now reads “person-to-person transfer Mastercard cash reward rebate”. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? Is this some sort of scam where they have my account information and send a credit to it to see if it’s real before trying to charge it? Hoping someone has seen this before or has any inkling as to what this could be.

EDIT: I really appreciate the responses. After a third call to my bank someone actually had an answer. Apparently it’s a new promotion they are doing where if you use your account for automatic transactions they give some sort of rebate between $5-$25.

Had a customer report that they had a control head that wouldn’t power on. It’s an APX 4500 with 02 control head. When I arrived on site it certainly would not power on despite having voltage. We pulled a known working control head from another unit and when it was attached to this radio it powered up for about 5 seconds then died and it would not turn back on at all, not in the original car or on the bench. I did not want to brick another head so I swapped out the transceiver, control head as well as the control cable. Was mainly curious if anyone has ran into something similar?
