When was the first time you really stopped and looked at a sunrise or a sunset in a video game?

[​Mine was ​Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy.](https://i.imgur.com/OqnBS3r.jpeg) I was probably 10 at the time. ​I stood on Sentinel Beach and just watched the day/night cycle happen for a while. The soundtrack certainly helped.​

I don't like them. I think they're a huge "get out of jail free" card. But they seem to get a pass for being "skill based." It's just a spot dodge that does free damage, ​has easier timing*, and breaks combos and pressure that a dodge would not.

I know this sounds like "boy it's annoying that different characters exist," but boy would I love a "fuck your combo" button like countering characters get.
