A hot take on C.17 Chen Ran vs Light Yagami

Intelligence: Chen Ran (Chen Ran should take Knowledge Application via usage knowledge as a novel writer on deducing the husband and wife's murder with Cheng Si, also him using wordplay to trick that officer guy with Cheng Si, NCPS is no debate Chen Ran takes via immediately adapting to hell, Cognitive Abilities surprisingly goes to Chen Ran. Light may take PSI but Chen Ran should take WMI via processing and predicting each of the people's reasoning skills, all while scheming himself- all while battling people who were also scheming. Around 2-3 layers of thought process which should maybe take against Light. If I'm spewing bullshit, then Light may take Cognitive Abilities.

Fluid and Crystal (if we go by that kind of intelligence, still both to Chen Ran)

Theory of Mind: Chen Ran (immediate profiling on that officer guy, youth, that guy with the Lie Killer skill)

Social Intelligence: Light Yagami

Self-Management: Light Yagami (Chen Ran needs cigarrettes)

Thinking: Chen Ran (Critical, Divergent, Creative, Abstract- basically all already)

Reasoning: Chen Ran (All- his deduction on people unable to lie in hell is already impressive, his inductive during chapter 4, his abductive during the 6 - 11 was great as well (Deductive too).

Planning: Light Yagami (The fake notebook swap in Part 2. Or Memory Loss)

Strategy: Chen Ran (To get rid of the guy with the Lie Killer skill)

Tactics: Chen Ran (Youth tactics or on Lin something something is great.)

Manip: Light (takes Direct and Emotional. Chen Ran takes Indirect, Logical)

Deception: Chen Ran (Bluffing, Concealment, Misdirection?) Light takes Acting Skills and Fabrication)

Field Skills: Light probs

Counteraction: Chen Ran

Feat Framework: Chen Ran

Overall? Chen Ran wins mid-high diffs.

It's crazy how good he is already- tho, that maybe cuz I scale Light a bit low compared to others.

Rereading 18LOH again since 2 months ago, I wasn't at the best mental state

I'll update you guys in an hour or two to see if my brain is at least smart enough to understand what i've just read.

Shirube vs Ryuen Kakeru (Part 1 vs Y3). Both are surprisingly underrated.

Intelligence, Self-Management, Sensory, Overall Tactics (maybe), Thinking, Reasoning, Adaptability, Counteraction: The Prodigy/Shirube

ToM, Social Intelligence, Foresight, Planning, Scheming, Manipulation, Deception, Field Skills: The Tyrant

Ryuen very high diffs. The reason being that Shirube doesn't really have the offense to best Ryuen- but Ryuen would have a huge hard time countering Shirube.

CAI is not listening to us

Why are we even complaining? Each time, it gets worse and worse. More shitty features in the free versions while blocking everything. It's like CapCut by now- and? They won't listen, they had never been after the new age vertification.

I can't do polls so doing this instead (Image unrelated)

The edit in question: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/pyUq1y5-Xkg
Jack: https://www.youtube.com/@jackthezodiac6136

The editor: https://www.youtube.com/@wodstudios255

After seeing JackTheZodiac (On YT)'s edit (edit by @wodstudios255 on YT.) on their new edit 'Akiyama vs Tokuchi', I was.... very confused by the chess edit. Great edit btw- just the chess, spoilers ahead, was terrible- like below Martin levels of chess.

So that got me motivate to make a Temu, but at least better version of chess edit of Akiyama vs Tokuchi

But that got me in a dillema, should I use a real game or a AI game (as in Stockfish vs Torch or Stockfish vs AlphaZero).

So I wanna get you guys' words on it. Real human games or AI games?

Death Note Characters and my opinion if they're underrated or not

Side characters - The fuck do I even need say?

SPK members (except Near) - They're pretty good. Not..... enough feats for me to say they're underrated.

Misa - eeeehhhh, most of her schemes are basics, she has low SI. So maybe a bit overrated. But her EM and EE are surprisingly underrated

Matt - Actual bum. No feats, can't even did his job and lost with the whole 'what are you gonna do, shoot me?' Even as a lowlife bum who can't even run without needing his Coke Zero, I can confidently say I'd win against Matt

Watari - Same with Matt but at least he has some feats- bare bone feats but it's something.

Misora - My queen. In all fairness, she.... kind of has nothing unless you use Comp Material- and even then, it barely gives her much stuff.

Minoru - Slightly overrated in Foresight. No feats in most categories except for Planning, Tactics, Deception. Good Indirect, Emotional, Logical.

Ryuk - No scheming feats but I feel like he'd go insane in Counteraction considering at least, my point of view, he was able to know Light's thoughts and plans throughout the entirity (I could be wrong). SLIGHTLY underrated.

Rem - Actual Misa victim and it's canon.

Near - He's underrated imo. Deduced X-Kira and you consider MT, Near is goated in scheming, even if you ignore the fact, the fact he was able to deduced Kira is Light and was fighting alongside Mello against a smarter Light.

Mello: Same reason as Near imo.

B - Controversial but I feel like he's underrated imo. He's not T2 don't worry, He's like a good T4, above Mello but below Near. Some categories like Reasoning, FSIQ, Strategy, Tactics, Field Skills of his are overrated. Everything else is really good (I don't need to talk about his SI- do I even need to say it?)

Light - oh boy..... uh, I'd say not underrated but he's not overrated. His Part 2 is way better than his Part 1 (which I feel like no one acknowledges that for some reason). Part 1 Light is overrated. PArt 2 Light is underrated

L - Maybe SLIGHTLY overrated. He's still T1 in verse. Just that he doesn't mid diffs Light. Maybe high diffs and very high- it's clear both of them are mostly equal- just that Light's fuckass ego gets in the way whenever it's about L and his sexiness.

ANyway, here's my random take

Michael de Santa's inconclusive fake death plan (ig spoilers for people who haven't played GTA V)

In the game, it is shown that Michael had fake his death of Michael Townley to change to de Santa to be a family man. Though, here's a problem (for me at least) for it to scale it high

for me, it's VERY inconclusive: There's no indication on if Michael had planned it alone, Dave did it, which makes it hard to scale. Not just that. It's borderline impossible to show that if Michael could contribute. Sure, you can argue both did their thing- but boiling down on who did what and who continued this and that is borderline fanfiction for me.

There are some nitpicks here and there like the fact there was no blood rushing through Michael and yet Brad had one during the scene where Dave shot Brad. Which you can argue the fact Trevor could have noticed it and deduced Michael was faking it.

Anyway, if anyone (who knows GTA V well enough) wants to tell me if I'm missing something, feel free! I dont wanna misinform my information.

Even then, he's still a Trevor victim

Not close to finishing GTA 5 nor GTA online || Trevor Philips vs D3rlord3

Intelligence, ToM, Social Intelligence, Thinking, Reasoning (close. Trevor's abduction on Brad's body and Michael's fake death is alright.), Manipulation, Deception, Sensory, Adaptability: Foresight, Counteraction, Feat Framework: Trevor

Self-Management, Scheming: Derek

Trevor wins

An somewhat unstoppable force vs an somewhat immovable object || Yokoya vs Ukai (Both EOM)

Intelligence, Self-Management, Thinking, Reasoning, Sensory, Overall Tactics Adaptability, Field Skills (close ig), Counteraction: Ukai

ToM, SI, Scheming, Manipulation, Deception, Foresight: Yokoya

Ukai very high diffs imo

He needs more offensive strategy. It's either defensive or ones where it just helps him escape (mostly in part 1).

Ngl..... Ukai Zero is a peak series (after rereading it). Shirube vs Kijirou (Part 1 vs Part 2)

Intelligence, Reasoning, Overall Tactics, Sensory (could be wrong), Adaptability: Shirube.

EI, SI, AC, Thinking, Scheming, Manipulation, Deception, Foresight, Field Skills, Feat Framework, Counteraction: Kijirou

Lisbon Victim vs Takami Victim | Pedih Jane vs Talk Tuah

Intelligence, Theory of Mind, Social Intelligence >=, Self-Management, Manipulation, Reasoning, Sensory, Counteraction (close. Jane had higher strengths and better trap settings but Tokuchi has lesser weaknesses and better trap evasion), Feat Framework: Jane

Deception, Scheming, Thinking (unsure), Adaptability (Jane could take this via Suspect List adaptability ig), Foresight, Overall Tactics: Toua

Jane very high diffs

Overall Better Oppositions?

I have weird thought circling around my head

take character A and Character B

Character A no diffs the fuck out of a team of mid tier SCD opponents (in all categories for the team), like they win so bad the mid tiers might became their lap dogs atp. Character A had no advantage while their opposition had most of all their advantages.

Character B extreme diffs their high tier opponent but loses in the end. their opponent was begging, whimpering and having nightmares about Character B during their matches/ meeting. their opponent‘s ideology and thought process changed after battling Character B. both of them have no advantages for each other, equal.

so which character is smarter. A or B?

The battle of inconsistent scaling. Dr. Frost vs Tsukumo (EOS for both). Manhwa vs Manga.

FSIQ, EI, SI, Thinking? (Unsure), Sensory, Field Skills, Manipulation, Counteraction: Frost

AC, Reasoning, Foresight, Adaptability, Intelligence, Feat Framework, Strategy, Planning, Tactics, Deception: Tsukumo

Tsukumo mid-high diffs.

It could be higher but just because Frost has little to no good scheming feats, I can't rate him high. Can't even say he's a good immovable object character considering how Moon beats him and how Frost needed help from people just to stop the mass panic.

I'm currently watching someone playing story mode GTA V and ngl? Trevor and Franklin has decent low tier feats atm (Michael included but I'm still questioning some parts.)

u/CardLampp — 16 days ago

I'm not asking if it's a high tier or low tier feat, just how hyped you were when reading or watching them think or do their stuff.

I wanna try to branch out to more characters.

Intelligence, Emotional Intelligence/ToM, Social Intelligence (unfortunately), Adversity Capacity, Sensory, Planning, Counteraction: Ayanokoji

Thinking (eeriely close), Reasoning (could be wrong but I don't really see Ayanokoji's chess feat to be related.), Manipulation >=(Direct, Logical) , Foresight (very close imo), Strategy, Deception (the most unsure. This could VERY much go to Kiyo), Overall Tactics: Akiyama

Akiyama extreme diffs.

Koji could very high diffs also.
