Would my insurance be very high?

My friend is getting rid of his old car soon and I am thinking about buying it. It’s a 67 Plate Audi A6, 3.0L Twin Turbo V6 Diesel. It does have Quattro, so hopefully no binning it around wet corners. Only considering it because it’s a nice car and will be cheap for me to own.

Passed my test 3 months ago, haven’t bought a car as yet so this would be my first insurance policy. 23 Years Old, Civil Servant. Is the insurance going to be ridiculous?

Is a second Twin Run necessary?

As the title says, I’ve just pulled a dupe Twin Run. Worth keeping a second at 233? Current one is 323. Couldn’t pull this car until 2 weeks ago and now I have a second 🙄

Is my RAM failing/failed?

My PC has gotten noticeably slower recently, so I ran the Windows Memory Diagnostic. In event viewer, it had error “The IO Operation at logical block address …. Failed due to a hardware error”. There are over 50 of these during the diagnostic scan.
I have 2x8gb Corsair Vengeance DDR4 on Windows 11.
Has one or both of these failed based on that? Is there a way to check beyond taking one out and seeing it that fixes it?
Cheers

MTW Job Referral

Hi all,

I did a MTW at the Job Centre and on the final day, I was told about a fast track application cum direct referral scheme the DWP have going. It skips the application process and sends me straight to an interview (which I am told is not a CS interview in the traditional sense, talking about behaviours) but I have to do another two weeks of MTW first. I have just started this second MTW. I have also been told that if I am successful, I’ll be given a start date within 14 days.
I was wondering if anyone had anymore knowledge or information about this scheme, success rates, how it works, really any information. I’m told this is a new scheme but I’m unsure whether any sites have already trialled this and can shed some light.

Cheers

Summer Games Premium Lites

Are the SG PLs paying out a lot better for anyone else? I’ve pulled 4 epics in 2 days which feels like insane luck…
In related news, Audi RS6 RQ77, I just pulled a dupe. Other is already maxed. Keep or fuse?

Experiences with the JobCentre

Hi all, I am currently doing the Movement to Work at the JobCentre. My second project is about barriers to the JC, especially around people who are disabled (mentally or physically) and neurodiverse people.

I am keen to hear from anyone who fits into either of those categories, or even anyone who fits into any ‘special’ category not mentioned. This can be parents, LGBT individuals, older people, anyone really.

I’d like to know what your experiences are with the JC, how you feel going into any appointments you have and indeed how you feel afterwards. Any perceptions you had prior to going there and any you have since going there. How you have been treated, how you have been helped, hindered, really any experiences about the JC that you think could constitute a barrier to someone.

I would really appreciate your experiences here. If you do want to leave any comments and would like to be sent the final product, let me know.

Many thanks 🙏
