My mother was a tracheostomy patient who required regular suction and nebulization. We hired home nurses through a healthcare agency in Chennai....

Initially an experienced nurse handled the care properly. Later the agency replaced her with another nurse and gave her proper training, but she did not take care of my mother properly. Because of this, we asked the agency to send another nurse who had previously taken care of my mother.....

The agency stopped the trained nurse and sent the older nurse we requested, but no proper handover or briefing about my mother’s care routine was given. Because of this, an important procedure (nebulization through the tracheostomy) was missed...!!!

My mother later developed severe mucus accumulation in the lungs, her condition deteriorated, and she eventually passed away..

\*so , Can the agency be held responsible for lack of proper handover and continuity of care?\* can I file a complaint in Indian court?
