got shamed for my new skates at my rink

Hi! I currently skate with the Jackson excels, I am five foot one but I am a bit on the heavier side around 150 pounds. My current skates are so broken down so I recently went to my local fitter to get new ones. After trying on a ton of skates me and the fitter settled on the edea chorus since they fit my heels and foot width the best with the MK professional blade and he ordered the boot for me. I told another skater at my rink that he ordered me the chorus boot and they said I was no where near the level of the chorus boot and they were shocked I would get them. I have my two and one foot spin and working on my scratch spin and I can do a waltz toe loop and salchow. I was so excited but now I am regretting getting these skates and I am so worried about how I will feel with them and scared to be judged for getting them. Does anyone have any advice? :,)

Am I overreacting?

Recently me (27F) and my boyfriend (32M) ran a 5k race together this past Tuesday. We ended up leaving early after the race took place and didn’t stay for the medal ceremony where they award medals for each gender and age group winners. The following day I found out that I won my gender age group! I had to pick up the medal and was excited to tell my boyfriend that I had won. Instead the first thing he says is “I wish I won something” and “I never win anything”. I was very upset I felt like my achievement wasn’t properly celebrated. He says he’s proud of me and then the following sentence is something along the lines of “I suck” and “I don’t deserve to win”. I feel guilty that I won and now still two days later every time he sees the medal he gets sad that he doesn’t have one. This isn’t the first time something like this has happened and I feel like how upset I am about this is way too dramatic for this situation. I’m hurt and feel guilty at the same time. I feel that I can’t be happy for myself without upsetting him. Am I overreacting? Can I help him feel more confident in himself?

I bought the 3-credit pack since it was $12.99 a credit this morning. The books i wanted were both priced around $15 and when I go back into the app the books are now $6. I feel scammed :,)
