I (41F) just completed my first egg retrieval. Only 3 grew to blasts & all 3 needed until Day 7. We biopsied for PGTA testing so now the dreaded 2-3 week wait. I read that Day 7s have a much lower euploid rate so I’m thinking we’ll be lucky to even get 1 normal embryo.

I was so naive I thought I’d only need one ER. Now it looks like that’s not the case. I don’t even know what to ask my RE to change next cycle to recruit more follicles& get faster growing embryos. Did we trigger too early? Did priming with estrogen over suppress?

Anybody have their Day 7s be normal & implant?
