Vermiculite repurpose

It’s my first year breeding ball pythons, and it seems such a waste to get rid of all the used vermiculite. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to repurpose? I was thinking of adding to plants, but didn’t know if the residual yolk would negatively impact

Xander = Chandler?

First time in this group as I am only on season 2, so I’m not sure if this has been brought up. But does anyone else feel that Xander is extremely similar to chandler from friends? I feel like from mannerisms to quirkiness to humor, his character constantly reminds me of chandler.

Edit: I am not talking about a direct parallel in characters, moreso how they both present lines and act. I could see teen Chandler being more similar to Xander personality wise, but not Friends chandler

Team of 4 growing into 7

I am a lead CRC at a private practice. There are currently 4 of us in the department, and it appears that in one fell swoop we are acquiring 3 new staff members (likely 2 assistants and a recruiter at assistant level). Even onboarding one staff in the past has been a feat.. any onboarding suggestions that may make this transition a smooth one?

Eye contact

I am working into a management role in the next few months, as such, I have been taking more meetings and handling more correspondence. One thing I have noticed (for some time but particularly more now as I want to come across as a strong leader) is that I tend to avoid eye contact when speaking. I do not know if it is just because I am nervous, or trying to put my thoughts together, but any advice would be helpful!

Interested in learning about this community

I am really diving into using this platform and recently stumbled upon this group. I’m curious, what indications/specialty do you work in and how did you end up there?

I’ve been in neurology for over 3 years now, started as an assistant and have recently moved into a lead CRC role. I received my BA and MA in psych related fields and was searching for an assistant position to get my feet wet. Ended up in neuro (because it seemed almost impossible to get a job without prior experience) and have not looked back since.

Side assignment: post any tip/trick you utilize that you swear by that makes your life easier. Mine would be organizing my email (almost obsessively). I create a tab for each study and then sub tabs for particular correspondence (e.g. CRA correspondence, lab reports, imaging, updates/amendments) that I move emails into once all actions are addressed. This is a super convenient way for me to pull up information from prior communications and I couldn’t do it any other way.

Looking forward to learning more - thanks in advance for sharing!
