Ready for Next Year's Hunting Season

I have inherited several nice hunting rifles, but I wanted to put something together that was truly "mine". I picked up the Glenfield Model A early this year and have been working on it a bit at a time. I wanted something that was cheap enough that if I break it while hunting nothing will be hard to replace.

What's your Favorite 111/130?

I have been carrying the Trailfinder pretty consistently, and I absolutely love it. The little bit of extra size in pocket is worth it for the more substantial tools, better ergonomics, etc. I'm trying to decide if I want to try the Workchamp or Rangergrip 78 next

Glenfield Model A Coming Along

Finally picked up a Hunter Lite stock, just need a few more things to finish it. Any recommendations for a muzzle break? I'll probably end up throwing an AFG up front. It's unconventional, but I dont want a bipod on this one, and a flat grip angle isn't comfortable for my wrist.

How Durable is the Printing on Exclusive Models?

I've been looking at a lot of the various exclusives for sale at SMKW, DLT, etc and I really like some of them. Has anyone carried one long term that can give insight to the durability of the prints?

Looking for a Pocket Slip and Sheath

Can anyone recommend a small, preferably leather, pocket slip that will carry a SAK and a pair of Knipex Cobra XS? Maybe my Google-fu is weak, but I can't seem to find anything that is that simple.

I'm also looking for a leather belt sheath for 111mm models, that has the butt end of the knife exposed (no flap).

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

What Models Have Really Surprised You, and What Models Have Disappointed You?

For me, the Trailfinder has been hard to get out of my pocket, even with other models that have "better" toolsets for my day to day needs. The Pioneer was also a nice surprise for me, and surprisingly sturdy. The Compact was by far the most disappointing, considering all the hype it gets. The Cadet also disappointed me slightly, as the thin handle was never comfortable doing anything.

NKD!

I have wanted a Companion since they first came out, and finally ended up ordering one. Also ordered a Pizza Recruit since my first SAK was a Recruit and I wanted to replace it. (Pizza is also my favorite food) Got to try the package opener to open the Recruit and I can already tell the Companion is going to get a lot of use!

How is the Companion?

I used to really like carrying the Compact, but I didn't like only having the combo tool since I run into a lot of Phillips screws. I also never use a can opener, so the Companion seems to be just about perfect. Just ordered one, and can't wait to try it out!

Appreciation for the OHT

Several years ago I started building a collection of SAKs, and probably had 30 or so a couple years ago. I stupidly sold all of them besides a Waiter and a Classic SD. I recently came to the realization that I far prefer carrying a SAK to any other knife or tool. I went and purchased a one hand opening Trailmaster/Finder/Trekker, and I had forgotten just how awesome the 111mm line is! The blade length is right in the sweet spot of the hundreds of knives I have owned, and the toolset is spot on for EDC and outdoors use. Is anyone rocking one of these every day?

Appreciation for the Bronco

Does anyone else prefer the Bronco Bass over their full size/fancier basses? I picked one up a couple weeks ago and can't put it down!

Loving The Mountain Duffel

Got the duffel for Christmas, and the sling a couple weeks ago. Sling has been my man bag everyday, and the duffel has been for road trips. First time flying with it and it's so much better than a suitcase so far!

Anyone Try These Yet?

I've been carrying the Cobra XS in my pocket since they came out, but I'd really like to have wire cutters with me as well. Thinking about replacing the Cobras with these. Does anyone have any experience?

I recently picked up a Dinky and its amazing. I am looking for a travel guitar that would be a bit more stable than a guitalele or similar sized electric. Would the Dinky Minion do well for road trips?
