Anyone have this experience? I increased my dosage from 10mg to 15mg 15 days ago. I have been on lexapro for 4.5 months and started at 5mg.

I was so afraid of side effects ( I'm the most scared about increased anxiety) and was shocked that I really didn't have any. My anxiety has been at an all time low and some days nonexistent. I was really starting to feel like my normal self. Then the past few days, I have gotten increased anxiety. I thought the 15mg was finally doing its job. Is this just part of upping the dose? I just didn't expect it after 2 great weeks.

I was tapered off rexulti from .50 mg to .25 mg for a month then told to stop. I was only on it for 4 months. I am 17 days out from taking any at all and on day 14 started feeling horrible anxiety, racing thoughts and less appetite. My doctor told me that with the half life of 91 hours it should have been out of my system in 5 days. Everything I have read says that isn't true. That the half life is like 18 to 19 days. He says none of what I'm feeling is from withdrawal of the rexulti and just my normal anxiety. I am also on lexapro and mirtazapine. This is so incredibly frustrating. I know what I'm feeling. I was fine the first 10ish days after stopping rexulti then it hit at day 14, horrible anxiety, racing thoughts, depression, no appetite, heart racing.

I was put on .25mg rexulti april 7th, 2026. Then upped to .50mg april 29, 2026. On July 17, 2026 doctor lowered my dose back to. 25mg in plans to take me off. Because he thinks I should never have been put on it.

I have been on the .25mg dose for a little over a month. Only noriceable withdrawal symptoms were a bit of irritability.

I also take 10mg Lexapro and 15 mg Mirtazapine.

Doctor wants me to just stop taking the .25mg rexulti. And that makes me so so scared after reading other people's experiences.

Is there any way to taper off the lowest dose? Need help!

A little back story. Been dealing with this round of depression/anxiety since February. Was put on prozac, which I had been on for years previously. It worked before but not this time. My med manager also had added rexulti to the prozac. (Saidni had treatment resistant depression)

Finally, switched to lexapro and still had the .50 rexulti. My anxiety and depression were making my appetite nonexistent. I dropped 15lbs in a month and 30lbs since February. Got a new med manager who lowered the rexulti dose and added mirtazapine for my appetite. 4 days into taking 7.5mg, I could eat again. First week, my anxiety was so much better and I this second week I can feel my depression lifting. I am enjoying things again and getting out and doing more.

I was so hesitant to take this drug...actually, I was terrified. I've read all the stories of people who had bad experiences, so please don't comment with those here. Hope this can help someone struggling.

Mirtazapine was recently added to my 10mg of lexapro. Anyone else on this combo? What are your experiences? Positive only please.

Was prescribed 7.5mg for anxiety, depression and appetite. I also take 10mg of lexapro and .25mg of rexulti.

I took my first dose last night. I was scared of the sedating effects because of what I've read. I slept 15 hours the first dose. And did not wake up even on my own. PLEASE tell me this goes away. That is not sustainable. I feel drugged today after taking it. I did have a very heavy sleep. It worked within 30minutes after taking it and laying my head on the pillow.

Anyone with experiences on this dose that doesn't have horror stories? I don't want to be more scared or worried

Been on lexapro for 7 weeks. First 4.5 weeks, 5mg. Last 2.5 weeks, 10mg. (With rexulti as a helper)

My question is, am I starting over as far as, "give it 6 weeks to notice if it's helping"? My doctor is all of a sudden wanting to make a change and take me off lexapro even though

My anxiety is better and I can see little glimmers of myself peeking out from the depression.

I feel like it hasn't been long enough to know if it's working or not. And feel it's too soon for her to make a change. Thoughts?

Week 2 the anxiety came back. I had absolutely no appetite and was exhausted. Week 3 I felt amazing again with no anxiety and was very productive. Now, starting week 4, the anxiety is creeping in. Is this normal to have so many ups and downs? I struggle with GAD and depression. The anxiety is the worst for me. I just don't wa t to keep experiencing what feels like mood swings. When does it even out?

I am on 10 milligrams of prozac and have just been bumped up to point five milligrams of rexulti. It has been three days on the new dose , and I have been so emotional and crying more than usual. Is this a typical adjustment period? I also feel like I have been more anxious since the increase. I'm always very nervous to do any medication change as it's been a rollrt coaster, trying to figure out what works. Would love to hear others experiences and if what I am going through is just me adjusting to the medication.
