the parasocial behavior is ruining the show

prefacing with this IS NOT the only thing ruining the show.

but this is the first reality tv series i’ve watched where people seem GENUINELY scared to voice their unadulterated opinion. and i think the only good explanation is because of how parasocial some people got last season. i truly believe that various cast members saw how janet was treated and spoken to by fans and are now tiptoeing around specifically the danny and nia drama.

i’m all for saying and sharing opinions on reddit…. but the way people went out of their way to harass her via social media and the terrible things people said TO her is truly awful. no one should be treated that way as a result of reality tv, specifically non abusers.

brittney seemed [one, actually offended zack said this, but two] legit scared that he said she’s talked shit about nia, presumably because she and other cast members are scared of being harassed by the angry mob.

i already feared the golden era of reality tv is behind us.. but i think viewers are sealing the fate of reality tv by being parasocial as fk to these people and taking their opinions so seriously to turn that into online hate (in a manner that’s completely directed to said person bc again i think sharing your opinion via reddit is one thing)

WSW - what venus sign do you all think my bf is based on his first message to me? LMAO

extra points if you can guess his sun (bc i think the mixture of the two is encapsulated by this) - but this message is just SO laughably on par with this specific venus sign

wedding guest dress???

27 yr old 32H here….

i’ve now bought three different dresses for my bf’s best friend’s wedding coming up in june from varying price points from varying websites. the fit on all of them is genuinely tragic.

my dilemma is (1) it’s an outdoor wedding (southern summer heat 😭) so obviously i need something that is summer-friendly. but as im sure many of us know, what would look normal on a smaller chest looks very…. “tantalizing” on bigger chests. (2) i want something where my boobs aren’t hanging out but i also don’t want to look matronly. (3) i don’t want to break the bank on a dress im probably only going to wear once.

i will say as well, there’s no specific dress code. so i dont need something SUPER fancy or anything.

please i am BEGGING for some youthful, big boob friendly, formal dress recommendations 🙏🙏🙏

ETA: i can sew as well. so if i get a dress where i can simply take in the midriff portion to make it tighter i can do that. it’s just all the dresses ive gotten the boob section is too small (despite literally going off the size chart for each one lol)

[TOMT] [SONG] electronic song??

i’ve seen this song in 2000s and Y2K edits on social media - it may have come out around that era bc it does have a Y2K vibe, but not 100% sure

there’s a girl singing “do. anything. to make ya” (periods to illustrate slight pauses between the words)

she MIGHT say “i do anything to make ya crazy - ya know ….” (“…” because i can’t even put together mentally what the second line could be) but i could be wrong that’s just what i’m hearing in my head

but the woman’s voice has been edited to be higher pitch and have kind of a “preppy” sound if that makes any sense? the electronic aspect is very bubbly and pop-y

PLEASE if someone can give me any direction i’ve been trying the last 40 min or so trying to track down this song with zero luck 😭🙏

to try to stay within the rules here’s a “similar”(?) song - although it only really captures the GENERAL 2000s electronic vibe , it’s missing the pop-y aspect that the song im thinking of and is a lot more lo-fi than i believe the song im looking for to be

32H here - wondering how common it is for big chested people to essentially be shaped like the letter P LMAO

this has been a source of insecurity for me for a long time, especially with how “in vogue” (sexualized) having a big ass is these days.

my thought process is…. it can’t be THAT uncommon right? when you have a huge chest [unless you’re blessed with a huge ass] .. any butt is going to look smaller than your chest and therefore at least somewhat disproportionate right? or am i just coping? 😭

and if anyone has any advice on coming to terms with this or clothing styles to accommodate im all ears!

(disclaimer that i am going to the gym to work on this, but obviously progress doesn’t happen overnight … and i genuinely believe that even if I do make a lot of progress, there will still be some level of “disproportion” BECAUSE my chest is so large)
