I’m honestly just tired at this point.

I’ve spent the last few days thinking about the PvE toggle and while I appreciate that the devs are finally listening to people who just want to play the game without being subjected to violence, I really think they are only solving half the problem.

Because what happens when I lose my loot to arc? no one even gets it, it just turns back into ones and zeros.

things happen. ARC happen. Sometimes I make a mistake. Sometimes I get distracted. Sometimes I just dont feel like fighting a hoard of a wasp, hornet AND firefly.

And when that happens why should I lose the stuff I spent my time getting?

I didnt buy ARC Raiders to lose loot.

I bought the game because it looked fun and I wanted to explore and collect things. I dont remember agreeing that everything I spend 30 minutes getting can just disappear because I made one mistake.

And honestly I think we need to have a serious conversation about how normalized violence has become in video games.

Why is the answer always just “you died, thats the game”? Why cant we have a game where people can just keep the things they worked for.

I dont think its unreasonable to have some kind of loot insurance. If I die, just give me most of my stuff back. Maybe theres a small fee or something. I’m not asking for free loot, I just dont think losing everything should be the punishment for having a bad 30 seconds.

Some people will say “just dont die” and honestly this is exactly the attitude that has made me feel so unwelcome in this community.

We have been dealing with PvP violence for so long that I think some people have forgotten that there are actual people behind these accounts who just want to enjoy the game.

I dont want to be forced to constantly worry about whether the items I collected are going to survive my session.

The PvE toggle is a good start. I really mean that. But please dont stop there, I think loot insurance is the next logical step. Honestly I would even be ok with getting back 90% of my stuff, I dont think thats asking for much after everything we’ve been through.

seasoned archer trying out slingshots for the first time, bought an LT2 and think I’ve installed the band wrong. Id like to hold the fork in my left hand, not quite horizontal like a gangsta, but canted at 45 degrees, where it’s most like holding a bow. I’ve installed the bands coming out the left and right side of the forks, is this incorrect? should I have them comin out over the tops of the forks? Any help or advice would be great thanks

Just finished. a good game no doubt, I had a lot of fun, but WAY too easy. ”hard” mode should have been the normal setting at most. the puzzles too easy, stealth too easy, enemy AI had me laughing out loud at how close I could get and loud I could be with no one noticing inches away. And even if you did get caught it doesn’t matter because fighting/gunfighting is the easiest thing of all. taking down 25 alerted, bloodlusted enemies with 15 rounds should be a lot more difficult. a tad insulting.

I don’t know anything about fragrances other than that Olmsted and Vaux by Phlur is my life’s greatest smell. It’s like I had never smelled anything good until this fragrance brought me online a few years ago, and it was already too late, either Phlur is gone, or just that fragrance. I bought a bottle for $90 three years ago, but they are much more rare now it seems and are priced well over what id ever consider paying (about $90 lol).

Can anyone that is good at smells tell me anything about this fragrance, what makes it unique if anything, and maybe some comparables?
