The new kid at blairwood elementary, where his other dad works as a custodian/groundskeeper/janitor. He’s a bundle of nerves, extremely anxious, and generally terrified of the unknown and monsters. Generally keeps Erma at an arms length. Loves birds a lot, and knows a lot about them.
Murph got all the ladies into him. At least Zoe thinks so.
Harris is a teen golden retriever and Zoe’s boyfriend/future husband. He comes from a long line of war veterans and military workers, dating back to his father who served in ‘Nam, and his grandfather who fought in wwii. Harris is generally a nice and loyal fellow, always keeping himself busy with volunteer work and regular exercise. His family has fought in American battles dating back to the revolutionary war, and have held onto very strong pro-war beliefs, and a lotta memorabilia. This tends to draw some ire from Zoe’s hippie peace-loving family, who strongly disagree with their beliefs. Despite this, Zoe and Harris are free to date each other as they please, and have built a strong and stable relationship built on trust and communication.
Also pictured is Harris’ grandpa, Kearny. He’s kinda like cotton hill from KOTH, in that he’s a cranky, inconsiderate jackass who regales people with stories of his military days. When he’s not mumbling about the current state of the world or hippies, he’s usually trying to make the moves on Murphy’s grandma, to no success.
I rly appreciate the amazing work this artist did for me! Poor Zoe’s gonna need some rest.
