Following on from the TTRPG group I posted about here at r/Ealing last month, we've now had our first few Lasers & Feelings one-shots, and I'm running another session! There are currently a couple of seats available on both dates.

This time we'll be playing The Singing Stones, a beginner-friendly Cairn TTRPG one-shot for up to 5 players. It's a standalone adventure, so there's no commitment to a longer campaign. No previous Cairn experience is required either. Characters, dice, pencils and everything else you need to play will be provided. 🙂

Please note that both sessions are the same standalone adventure, so you'd only need to sign up for whichever date fits your schedule best!

📍 The Hanworth, Hounslow (TW3)

The pub is around a 5-10 minute walk from Hounslow Central and Hounslow railway station, and is easy to reach from Ealing by the Piccadilly line or E8. 🙂

The club is completely free to join, and the games are free to play. We just meet at the pub, where people can grab a drink or some food if they want.

We're hoping to keep running a variety of different TTRPGs, including games like Alien and Call of Cthulhu, so if you can't make either of these dates but would be interested in future games, feel free to get in touch.

This is part of a new, beginner-friendly tabletop RPG group that started a few weeks ago (we've already had some cool Lasers & Feelings one-shots!), so if you can't make either of these sessions but are interested in future games like Alien or Call of Cthulhu, feel free to get in touch as well.

Because there has been so much interest, I'm looking at running a second table on 18th August.

What is it?

I'll be running Lasers & Feelings, a fun, rules-light sci-fi RPG that's easy to pick up in just a few minutes. It's a completely self-contained one-night adventure, making it a great introduction for anyone who has never played before.

No experience, special voices, or rule-books required - just bring yourself and a willingness to have some fun.

I'm organising a new beginner-friendly tabletop roleplaying club for adults in Hounslow (TW3), with the aim of launching our first sessions mid-August 2026.

The exact date is being finalised with our venue - The Hanworth (48 Hanworth Rd), a recently refurbished quiet pub with plenty of table space that is keen to host us.

There's no membership fee; members are simply encouraged to support the venue by grabbing a drink or some food if they wish.

📅 When are we hitting the road?

• Target week: Tuesday 11 August (currently being finalised with the venue)

• Schedule: One session every other Tuesday, 6:30 PM - 10:30 PM

• First session: A self-contained, beginner-friendly one-shot run by me (table has space for up to five players).

• Commitment level: No experience or long-term commitment required. Come along, play a one-shot and see if it is for you!

I'd love to explore a variety of tabletop RPGs - classic fantasy, sci-fi, horror, mystery, and more - depending on what the group enjoys.

Whether you are completely new, returning after years away or already an experienced player looking for a local group - you'll be very welcome.
