A short campaign in North/East London looking for a player

We’re starting a mini 3-month campaign end of May until around end of August and looking for 1 or 2 people to join. Beginners welcome.

We’ll be playing at Zombie Games Cafe near Kilburn Station and Brondesbury Station, or in Hackney at one of our’s houses.

The DM can do Tuesday evenings, Thursday evenings, Friday evening, and sometimes weekends. But we’ll vote every time so that the day/time works for everyone. We’ll try to aim for a weekly basis but might do biweekly depending on everyone’s availability.

We’re planning session zero for this weekend so keen to find someone soon. Please send a message with a little info about yourself, your dnd experiences or expectations if you’re interested in joining!

Just some info about us, we’re 2 girls and me (non binary) in our mid-late twenties, all immigrant and creatives. The DM is a guy with about 6 years experience with the game. We lean more story/collaboration than combat.

Edit: We were able to find someone! thank you to everyone who messaged, honestly wish I could play with you all.

Mothership One-Shot this Wednesday (Tooting Broadway)

Hi Everyone

Looking for one or two more players for a Mothership one shot this Wednesday 20/05 - session will start at 18.30 and we will be finished by 10pm

Will be located in a pub 5 mins walk from Tooting Broadway with a nice semi-private room

We'll make characters at the beginning of the session which is quick (and quite fun) - absolutely no experience needed, the system is very rules light and easy to learn as you play

This will be a welcoming and inclusive table for all players including LGBT+

As it is a horror game we will also discuss content warnings and sensitivity ahead of the session

Thanks for reading!

New player (31M) looking for a weekday evening D&D group in North London

Hi everyone,

I’m completely new to D&D although I recently played my first session at RPG Taverns. I’d love to find a friendly group that’s open to beginners and happy to help me learn as I go.

I’m aware of RPG Haven here in Archway, but unfortunately their regular Tuesday night sessions don’t work with my schedule so I’m hoping to find another local group.

Weekday evenings, aside from Tuesday, would be ideal for me.

If you have space in an existing campaign or are putting together a new group, please let me know.

[Offline][London, Islington][5E14][Saturday 2:00PM GMT][23+][LGBTQ+ Friendly] Lost Mines Of Phandelver

Nestled in the rugged foothills east of the Sword Mountains lies a stretch of frontier where civilization fades and the wilds reclaim what was once lost. The small mining town of Phandalin stands as a lone spark of hope in this untamed region, its people working to rebuild a settlement long forgotten by history.

Travellers along the Triboar Trail whisper of trouble in the area—raiders in the hills, missing caravans, and hints of something ancient stirring beneath the earth. Old maps have resurfaced, new factions have taken an interest in the region, and the past seems determined not to stay buried.
What begins as a simple job will soon draw a band of adventurers into a deeper mystery, one that will test their courage and shape the fate of Phandalin itself. Ready your gear and steady your nerves—the frontier is calling.

Hi everyone, I'm looking to put together a group of 4-5 people to start up a new campaign using the module 'Lost Mines of Phandelver' with the potential for continuing with another module after.

Game details:

  • Day/Time - Saturdays 2pm to 6pm GMT+1.
  • Offline, held at a private residence, near Essex Road Station, Islington, N1.
  • Character creation - D&D Beyond.
  • The initial module should last between 5 - 6 sessions however this depends on how efficient the party is or isn’t.
  • We will use paper maps to run the game.

Information about me:

I'm Thomas, a 28‑year‑old based out of the UK. This will be my third campaign, the second being a 1‑year‑long Waterdeep: Dragon Heist campaign and the first being 'against the cult of the reptile god' which ran for about 3 months, both run online with this being my first time running a game in person.
As a person I enjoy cooking, baking, origami, dnd, and most nerdy things. I am an accountant by trade but originally studied philosophy. I am left leaning politically and am a firm believer in LGBTQ+ rights and inclusion.
As a DM, I always try to offer plenty of opportunities for RP as it is what I always enjoy as a GM or player being able to RP my character in a world. I tend towards a balance between RP and combat. At the end of the day, the most important part of any campaign is for the group to enjoy the story. Most importantly I’d like for this to be a friendly, welcoming, and tolerant environment, so won’t tolerate hatred or bigotry.

Session 0:
We will have a designated Session 0 as an opportunity for everyone to meet for the first time, get an introduction to the campaign, and create characters together. As I’ll be hosting the campaign at my flat, I’d prefer to hold Session 0 in a more public setting, most likely a nearby pub—so we can all meet. All subsequent sessions will then take place at my flat.

I’d prefer that the party have some form of pre‑established connection that explains why they’re working together and what motivates them to take up the adventure. This could be something like belonging to the same faction (Zhentarim, Harpers, Order of the Gauntlet, etc.), being part of a mercenary company, or serving together in the Neverwinter/Waterdeep city watch. We will discuss this however as part of session 0.

Extra details
When it comes to characters I am happy to have any official character races or classes that appear in dnd 5th edition books. I am also open to any third party materials or homebrew however I would want to look at them first.

Thank you for reading through my post and if this game sounds like something you would like to join, please put an application in through the google form and I will get to you as soon as I can. I will look at all the applications as best I can and the game won't be first come first serve.
Form: https://forms.gle/Uvmc9vVH2ZyqFME18
If you have any questions, feel free to ask and I will answer as soon as I can.

Places that play Cyberpunk?

Sorry if looking in wrong place l:

Through meetup, I've so far played 'Delta Green' at the Britannia, Monument

And 'Call of Cthullu' at Otter Chaos in Brixton.

The website is useful, and I plan to use it again.

I'm just wondering if people know of a place to play Cyberpunk (be it Red or one of the earlier versions of the game).
