D&D 5e 2014/2024 Offline in London, England

So I moved back to London a short time back and I haven’t yet found myself a solid party to adventure with! I’m a professional writer and I’ve got 12 years of playing and DMing experience and whilst most of this is 5e 2014, I can turn my hand to 2024 too.

I am hoping for this to become a regular game and a campaign that spans levels 1 to 20, as well as becoming the basis of a solid friendship group.

I like to be led by my players so such things as scheduling, edition, play style, and homebrew etc will all be decided by the party of players, not just me alone.

Here’s to hoping we can have a real adventure!

Tube etiquette: would you give up a priority seat if asked?

I was wondering what most people think about this.
Imagine you’re sitting in one of the priority seats at the end of a Tube carriage because it’s the only seat available. The train is otherwise full.

A man in his 30s or 40s gets on. He doesn’t appear to have an obvious reason to need a priority seat, but he politely asks, “Would you mind if I sat here, please?”

Would you give up the seat?

How does natural armor and unarmored defense combine?

I have long wondered how races/species with natural armor gain any advantage from class feats and other effects that come from being unarmored. I may have missed something very clear on this and, if so, I’d really appreciate anyone who can point me in the right direction. But it seems to me that RAW don’t address this, RAI probably count natural armor as armor and therefore prevent that character from ever benefitting from certain class fears etc., but my gut tells me that this feels unfair.

I have often homebrewed a rule that characters with natural armor are so used to this being part of their actual body (rather than worn armor) that they can still benefit from the class feats, adding together the bonuses received from natural armor and feats like unarmored defense.

I am interested to see if anyone else handles it the same or differently, any other insights, and whether the edition you are playing makes a difference to this?

I buy two electric bikes (in England). I want to exercise my UK right to a return and refund within 14 days. The seller delays for over a month and refuses to arrange a safe pickup (UK law prohibits transport of lithium batteries in the same package as the bikes). eBay puts it on five day hold but then removes the hold and escalates the case to the high value team without notifying me. The seller becomes aggressive. I have a call with eBay and they can't tell me why the hold was removed and escalated, why I wasn't notified, or when the new deadline is. I ask what I should do. They say to return the bikes "In black sacks using one return label". I point out that this is illegal under UK law. They say they can't discuss the law with me and end the call.

Both the seller and eBay are attempting to make me break the law. What can I do?
