Rear dash camera?

Anybody have a rear dash cam on their 2026 passport?

If so wanted to see what the image is like thru the tinted window and if night video even works?

I am looking at getting a FITCAMX and not sure if the rear is worth it or not.

Portable rinse/shower?

Anybody using one of these or something similar? Looking to get your inputs. We go kayaking almost every weekend at the beach. Salt water and sand are a given.

Trying to keep the new car as clean as I can and was wondering how effective this would be to rinse items before putting them in the trunk and to rinse shoes/sandals before getting in the car?

Just not sure if it's easy enough to use and make work. Seems like no easy way to control it and use it and then get to your door without getting sandy again...

Rear window seal?

Question for you - what is the rear rubber trim on the rear windows supposed to look like? Came out and noticed my rubber trip piece was different on each window. Here are some photos

First photo is left side with rubber tucked back in on itself and second photo is the right side with rubber out on the glass. I assume photo #1 is correct but want to check?

Roof crossbars

I have a 2026 Honda passport trial sport elite and I am looking to get a setup that will work well with my hullivator kayak carriers.   I actually have 2 sets of hullivators that I can potentially use but I am trying to figure out what set of crossbars to get.  Here is my data and the options I am lookign at - would like to get your inputs:

- I contacted the dealer and they confirmed that the roof rails are abel to support 210 lbs

- I have two sents of hullivators (40 lbs per set or 80 total)

- 1 kayak is 53 lbs and the other is 64lbs total of 117 lbs

- Assumong the rails and supports will be around 10 lbs

SO grand total would be around 80+117+10= 207 lbs.

Looking at

  1. Yakima TimberLine Roof Rack for Raised Rails - CoreBar Crossbars - Steel - Black - Qty 2  Part Number: Y67YD

  2. Yakima TimberLine Roof Rack for Raised Rails - HD Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - Qty 2 Part Number: Y23NB

Looking for inputs and reccomendations-  not sure how difficult it is to istall a hulivator to a CoreBar?  I know you use the channel mount for the HD Bars but also that seems like a pretty weak connection with two small bolts holding the hullivator and the kayak to the roof.   Again please tell me your thoughts on what is best to get.

What color exterior letters on a sonic gray passport?

I am looking to get some lettering to make the PASSPORT stand out on the front and rear bumpers.

Question is what will look better black letters or orange letters? Or maybe the ones that are black with orange outline or orange with black outline?

Looking for opinions. I am still looking at potentially 3d printing some on TPU but may buy. Let me know your thoughts on colors.

Exterior lettering? 3d or wood?

So I have been looking at the lettering kits that they sell on etsy and other places online where you can update the color of your exterior bumpers where the PASSPORT lettering is.

My issue is they all cost a lot. I have a basic creality 3d printer at home but I can't find an easy way to gather the proper don't to use.

My other option is to maybe trace the letters on some paper and transfer that to come cedar planks and then cut out some letters on my scroll saw. That could look good but might also look terrible not sure. Just wish there were some cheaper options or files I could use for my printer.

Any recommendations on good lightweight touring kayaks.

I have a Venture Jura HV 16 foot kayak that I have been using for the past 6+ years. My partner has a 14 foot Elie Strait 140 XE Kayak.

The Jura is about 65lbs and the elite is about 55lbs.

We use them every weekend at the New Jersey shore and as we are getting older and the kayaks are getting older I have started thinking about the potential to buy some lighter weight kayaks. I would still like something that is more of a touring/sea kayak. Looking at lighter material.

Would love something that you can get moving pretty easily and keep on momentum with easily. Again there are options and I wanted to get input from folks on their suggestions and experiences.

2026 Honda Passport Trailsport Elite Transmission Shifting Issues

I have a new TSE with about 1250 miles on it and while I do really like the car I can't stand the transmission. I don't think I am alone on this front as I have read that many folks seem to have transmission issues on this car but I am just not sure if my car is like others or somehow worse.

Some trips are "ok" while others I feel every single downshift when I am coming to a stop. Sometimes those downshifts literally buck me in my seat. It's just not normal and I have never experienced this on any car I have driven or rented in the past. It's mostly downshifting but sometimes I get a laggy gear shift when accelerating as well

Again I have read other have issues but I was hoping it would get better as I got closer to 1500 miles but nothing so far

Does anybody think my fluid level could be low? What do I request/demand if I take it back to the dealership?

2026 Passport Trailsport Elite Roof Rail Capacity?

Does anybody know what the true official weight capacity it for the roof rails? I have seen 165 lbs and I have seen 209 lbs. I am not talking about crossbars or aftermarket equipment here. Just trying to understand the capability of the rails so I can buy a set of crossbars that is capable of using the full capacity of the rails.
