Hey all, I asked the other day about the ability to view the dashboard on Apple TV and show the data there.

Since then I’ve kinda made it work see attached link to YouTube short where I show it of.

I wanted to engage some understanding about demand and feature capability. Eg do you want a dashboard picker or do you want to it to be fixed to one dashboard etc. I’m going to build what I want but it might be easy to add some of this stuff in while I’m building it so would love to know what you’d like

if there is some demand I’ll out my code on GitHub for everyone when I have something !!

Before I go away and make this a reality, I want to know if anyone has built a grafana dashboard view for Apple TV. Eg it loads the dashboards as you’d see them online.

I don’t need any sort of interaction other than to maybe change dashboard.

I have a PW3 that I got installed a month or so ago, wish I could have installed that myself but I’m thinking of adding solar to it myself. The difference between the two quotes was about 12-15k.

It would have also been more expensive as the scaffolding would have been more complicated then they thought

Has anyone on here done that / got any thoughts. I can’t imagine it’s completely really.

I would just like to mention I do have an electrical qualification so I have a fair amount of understanding, sadly it’s not a qualification so I couldn’t become an installer for the pw3 not that I’d of done that for single install.

I’m just starting to look for quotes for heat pumps and going to try and do a heat loss calculation, I just thought I’d share my usage and be interested in what people think.

This is the usage from march this year so a slightly colder but not much colder month. My guess is really we need like a 10kw + heat pump to be able to handle this sort of demand for our house.

Very large house about 20 rooms and 2 floors.

Thoughts welcome

Just had solar added to the power wall, had it for about a month without any. We didn’t get much solar as we want to fully use the cheap electricity and then just use solar to get to the end of the day

however the powerwall is acting differently as you can in the graphs it’s not fully charging now and didn’t start at the start of the cheap window.

Anyone know why & what can be done about it
