RE said two c-sections have rendered me *more* infertile

Spiraling a bit and putting this out there as a general PSA, because women's health isn't talked about enough and informed consent is imperfect.

I'm prepping for a FET after two rounds of IVF yielded only two precious, normal embryos.

I've had two previous c sections. One after a long TOL, and the second scheduled.

Since my second c section, my uterine lining is very thin. Even on heavy stims, we never got it past 6.2 mm. Now prepping for a FET, we're struggling to get it past 4 mm.

The RE said this may be the best my body can do, because c-sections can damage the underlying blood architecture feeding the uterine lining.

I did not know this was a risk of my c-sections. It sounds like an uncommon side effect, but I wish I had been informed when scheduling my second c-section. I would have been more adamant about trying a VBAC, because we'd always planned on 3 kids.

My transfer will probably be cancelled and our chances of success are plummeting since we can't reach a normal uterine lining even with estrogen.

I just want to get off this infertility ride. I'm so tired.

Uterine lining can shrink apparently

I thought I had heard it all, but I went back to my second monitoring appointment for a modified natural cycle.

My historically terrible uterine lining has pulled a new one on me. At cd9 after 5 days of letrozole, it was at 3.8mm. Today, at cd13, it's now only 3 mm. Follicle grew from 13.7 to 16.3 mm. But my estrogen has actually gone down and my lining has shrunk.

Zero fertile signs and a follicle that's basically mature.

We're doing ganirelix and vaginal estrogen. I go back Wednesday. But I almost just want to call it, trigger, and try again next month. Birth control priming just does not jive with me apparently.

FET with repeatedly thin lining? Looking for success stories

Anyone else struggle with a consistently thin lining?

We have two embryos to work with and I really want to try a modified natural cycle. But I've never gotten a lining over 6.2 mm at trigger.

Has anyone had a successful FET with a thinner lining? Did you go forward if you were under 7 mm or cancel the cycle? If cancelled, what can they do if your lining never thickens up?

Only Blast is Aneuploid

I can't believe I let myself hope among all the "it only takes one" posts.

Just got testing results and our single egg that made it to blast is Aneuploid.

Age 35, 12 retrieved, 9 mature, 6 fertilized, 1 3AA blast, Aneuploid.

I start my next retrieval cycle Thursday. But I honestly want to just lay down in a ditch. Trying to work feels impossible.

Another Day 6 arrest post - what to change?

I'm hopeful that this community can help me figure out what to ask my RE about over the results of my most recent egg retrieval.

First retrieval, amh 2.38, age 35 and 2 months. AFC was 28, day of retrieval there were 17 follicles over 10mm. 12 eggs collected, 9 mature, 6 fertilized.

All steadily grew to day 5/6. One blast was frozen, rated 3AA. Embryologist said one made it to blast but was discarded, 4CC. The rest arrested sometime between day 5 and 6. Embryologist noted that my eggs felt a little soft and had a thick zona. Can't tell if this is just poor egg quality issue.

Protocol was 75 menopur, 225 gonal f for 10 days. Double triggered with Lupron. Estrogen priming for 7 days prior to stims.

I'm feeling discouraged, as so many of us too, but very grateful for the one blast on ice. Anxiously awaiting testing on that one.

My question is, what do I raise with the RE? My thoughts so far are maybe an extra day of stims and a dual hcg trigger would have helped?

Okay, not panic. But can anyone reassure me that heavy metal is the right move for a Sienna Platinum? Just reserved one, it's coming next week, and I'm feeling bummed because I didn't realize it's lighter than the metallic gray of the past few years.

Still the right move? Hesitant to let this go, as dealer gave me $2k off mrsp for reserving. But I just don't want to drive a silver car.

Would love to hear from anyone who loves the color!
