After 15 yrs of GOP domination of our state's legislature, North Carolina's GOP-run State Board of Elections is doing everything it can to tip the scales in the party's favor by drawing voting districts that dilute non-GOP voters (called gerrymandering), closing polling sites in precincts that tend to vote for democrats, change mail-in voting rules at the last minute to more easily toss those ballots, etc... Verify your existing voter registration at NCSBE.gov or VOTE411.org.
If you need to register to vote, follow the instructions at NCSBE.gov. There are multiple ways to register via online or by mail or in person before the midterms. Relying on nefarious mailers like the one described in this video that is going out to voters in battleground states is not a great way to protect your vote.
