Seiko Perpetual for Me. What R U Wearing?
Went with my favorite Seiko today. The Perpetual Calendar Quartz. This watch does it all. Day/Date/Month/LeapYear/24Hr/Chronograph/Alarm/SmallSeconds. It’s absolutely crazy.

Wearing my only COSC certified timepiece today. The Mido Jubilee Chronometer. It’s my favorite watch to match with any strap color you can imagine. Perfect large white dial for wearing anywhere for any occasion.
I was weary of Seiko Mods but I really enjoy the 2 I have. This one especially. Love the Panerai look but don’t love it $7K worth. Found this beauty and it’s really well made and wears great.
So I’ve decided to finally let go of some watches. Some bought on a whim. Some I’ve had for a while and have gotten newer versions I like better. Wife said some had to go if I’m going to keep getting new ones. Any of these something you guys think I should keep?
Went with my 2004 Zodiac V-Wolf. Fell in love with dial 20 years ago and still love it today. Experimenting with a new strap today. The original bracelet is awesome but wanted to maybe Summer it up a little bit with a matching canvas strap. Does it look ok?
Went with the Xeric Ultraviolet NASA Trappist. The depth on the dial and the lume are insane. Check second pic. Hope all you watch lovers have a great weekend.
You know you’ve seen the TikTok’s and have thought about a Valusis. I bit. It is super pretty.
My first Shinola. Not regretting the purchase. The automatic Runwell. Has a really good wrist feel. They say it’s Midnight Blue, but unless you’re in direct sunlight I think it could pass for Black.
My 2017 Aquaracer. Second oldest Tag I own. Earlier post went blank. Never seen that before.
I know… it’s a Chinese watch, but for the $ the quality can’t be matched. I own a good many mid-tier to lower upper-tier watches and the build quality on this watch compares favorably. I also appreciate the fact they are upfront Chinese and didn’t try to pull off the made somewhere else (when we all know) trick. If you have $200 or much less in some cases you should give them a try. This is my 3rd and they are all wonderful watches with Miyota 8 and 9000 movements.
Formex Titanium Field. Needed to have a good outdoor watch today. Giving certification tests in the field. Gloomy rainy. And Formex Friday sounds good.
Today it’s the Seiko PADI Turtle Diver. One chunky ass watch.
Went with a non-traditional watch today. The Mr. Jones Watch “Beam Me Up”. Really cool novelty watch that does tell time but it’s more for the fun of it.
Went with my Red Formula One. Looked too formal on the Bracelet so got the Red Rubber Strap to make it more informal.
Start the week off with one of my Moonswatches. I think I prefer this Mission to Sun over my Mission to Moon. Plastic watch looks better in bright yellow to me.
This thing is crazy. Seiko Perpetual Chronograph SPC253. Small seconds, Day, Pointer Date, Month, Leap Year, Alarm, 24hr, and Chronograph. And it’s pretty. Hope you all have an Incredible Friday.
Little TikTok scrolling late at night and this company caught my eye. Sucker for a pretty watch. Built great and love these colors together.
Went with the wacky Xeric Halograph today. I like the alternative time telling watches. Just wish they felt a little better quality-wise. But not real expensive so can’t be too down about it.
Still feeling springy around here. Went with my Blue Citizen Record Label Playground. These were a limited production available only in Japan. Luckily I have an old school friend who lives there and he got me this and the yellow on release day. Really fun spring/summer watches. Only having Celsius temp took some getting used to but I got it now.
