For fellow employees

Southern Ontario location: 36 degrees outside. We have never in our life seen so many customers spill drinks and popcorn everywhere and i dont mean in the theatre: they were spilling them in the lobby and then looking up at us, guilty. Other than that, guests were dropping bags of candy, tickets, and napkins like crazy. Many items left behind in theaters from toys to bags. Three times people wandered into the wrong theatre while we were cleaning. Customers were wearing as little clothing as possible and I dont blame them, I was soaked in my uniform, showered as soon as I got home from work.

One guest said to me "i'm sorry, the heat is melting my brain." I'm wondering if the heat actually did have something to do with how customers were completely out of sorts yesterday 🤔 anyone else's location have "out of the ordinary" behaviour yesterday?

Aspergers

Is it still okay to just say we are diagnosed sith aspergers? I know so many things got folded into ASD in 2015 (i hear rumblings the next DSM will have an "un-folding"? Idk) but I still see people individually discuss Fragile X and stuff. I got diagnosed when I was in gr3 and now im 28 and my diagnosis was aspergers. I actually work with profoundly autistic children and teens and feel disrespectful thinking of myself as autistic point blank.

Also I dont have any type of eating issues. I love food 😍😍 all food. And I dont have a problem with small talk, I am employed, I dont mind listening to my friends talk about themselves and actually enjoy asking further questions about them, etc. So im like...aspergers probably really does fit me more than what verbal people with asd say their autism is like or what profoundly autistic invididuals experience.

I was surprised to see this page have so much interaction and so many posts considering how I feel like it's so taboo to say nowadays. 😄🙂

Screaming at walkers

You guys PLEASSSSSE STOP SCREAMING AT PEOPLE JUST WALKING i don't understand this at all 😭😭 it used to be mostly teenagers and now it's grown men with pickup trucks and college age students too. BLEASE STOP IM BEGGING YOU i genuinely dont understand why yall do this 😭😭😭 some dude from a PARKED car just barked at me while I was walking??? People flash their high beams at me repetitively ? People honk???? Come on like it makes me feel so weird. It's been happening since I moved to Brantford and im just literally trying to get my steps in or clear my head 😭😭😭

Does anyone have any recommendations for trails in Brantford? Like through nature? Where someone can drive to and park there car??? I usually just walk around my neighborhood but I cannot walk next to a road anymore. I miss winter so bad. This behaviour genuinely only happens in non winter seasons. In the winter it's only me out there and it's cold and peaceful 🙂😭😭😭😭

Walking shoes

Is it normal for this to happen to a pair of walking shoes? I bought them in August 2025 and it's only May 2026. I dont use them for day to day life - only my walks (I dont run, just walk), and maybe four times a month at my "part time" job that I barely go to (and only for like three hour shifts at a time). I saw someone post a pair of Hokas and say they owned them for three years and ran three marathons in them and they didnt look like this 😰😰 I obviously need new shoes now but I dont know if I should go back to Brooks or try Asics/Hoka now 😵‍💫😵‍💫 these were 237$ 😭

Looking for specific grocery store/farmer market please help ☹️

Hello everyone 🙂 i moved to Brantford four years ago but I spend most of my free time in the KW/Hamilton/Burlington/Mississauga/London/St Catharine's. I do appreciate Brantford but these cities obviously have more things to do/places to go than Brantford does.

I used to take the back road to St Catharines from Brantford two years ago, and then I switched to taking the highway. Recently I went back to St Catharines on the back road because I intended to trace my steps searching for a specific store, but my GPS took me a different route. I dont know how to get to St Catharine's from Brantford by myself. Two years ago, on the back road route my GPS would take me through, I would always pass by a very large brown farmer's market-looking store. I don't remember exactly what it's called, but I'm pretty sure it had "Canada" in the name of it. The sign out front says they sell fruits and veggies. I think it's in a small town just before St Catharines? The building looks well maintained and not run down and there's a pretty good sized parking lot surrounding it but nothing else, it is all alone in its own plaza. I never went in but for personal reasons I really want to go there so badly now but I cant find it even when googling "farmers market St catharines" "grocery store St catharines" etc. If anyone can help me locate it I'd really appreciate it!! 🫠🫠

U guys I just enrolled for the spring 2026 pilot program payment plan. anyone else?? I was shocked and bamboozled by this; i had no idea it existed. For my financial needs a payment plan like this is 10000x preferable to OSAP or a Student Line of Credit from a bank 😲 this should honestly be more common.
