how to politely ask roommate to start helping clean?

Backstory, my friend and I just moved in together about 2 months ago. She lived on her own for about a year before we decided it would be cheaper to rent together. Her house was always a little bit messy when i would come over, but she would still clean from time to time when she knew she was having guests.

fast forward to now, ever since we started living together, i've been doing all of the cleaning. I am the only one fully cleaning the house every weekend (kitchen, sweeping, mopping, wiping counters, etc). there hasn't been a single time she's done any cleaning in the common spaces. she'll occasionally clean the kitchen, but only empties and fills the dishwasher. this is VERY seldom btw. this previous week, she made fish in the kitchen, left the pot on the stove, and threw the leftover in the trashcan. it started stinking up the kitchen so bad, but i thought she'd eventually clean it up. she didn't, so i had to again. i cleaned the kitchen up 3 different times last week, constantly emptying and filling the dishwasher. she'll leave pots and pans just sitting on the stove for days, until i eventually clean it up. i don't know if she had just gotten used to living alone, but now i'm the one doing all of the chores.

i'm going out of town for this upcoming weekend, and i'm not gonna bother cleaning the kitchen up for this whole week, because frankly i don't want to have to clean it for the forth time when there's another fully capable adult living here that can help.

i need some advice on how i can politely tell her that we need to split the chores because half of the time i feel like i'm living in filth.

amazon having shipping issues?

so i ordered this package last saturday and it had said that it would come on monday this week. monday rolls around and the package says "arriving today" but it hadn't even been shipped yet. eventually it updated to this message at 10pm that night and has been stuck at it since then. i contacted customer service and asked them what was going on, and they just said they'd put in a ticket for it and get it shipped out in the next 24 hours. they also said that once it was shipped, i would get a full refund on the order. 24 hours later, still nothing. i decided to just purchase a different brand and tried to cancel this order, but it won't even let me?? is anyone else having trouble with this recently? the new one i decided to order is also stuck in the ordered but not shipped situation and it's also a 2 day delivery. what is going on?

low sodium and carbs still causing water retention?

i've been watching my sodium closely these past weeks because my face has become so bloated for no reason. i assumed it was because i was having too much sodium, so i cut back. i already get plenty of potassium throughout the day due to eating a ton of avocado and spinach. i've also been doing dirty keto for a while now (under 50g net carbs a day). my question is, why is the bloating not going away after cutting sodium down? i have about 1500mg of sodium a day and about 3700mg of potassium a day. i also take magnesium glycinate at night before bed. i know that something is causing the water retention because sometimes my face is super puffy when i wake up and sometimes it isn't. my question is, is too low of sodium possibly causing more water retention? i also drink more than 64oz of water a day due to medical reasons.

2 week trial period at job

hey guys, i need opinions. i just recently got accepted for a new job at a greenhouse for sunday-thursday. it's a good job and would be way better than the one i have right now. my predicament is that i work at mcdonalds right now. i am already scheduled for next week and since it's a busy week in my town, it's a blackout week. meaning i call out, i'm fired. the greenhouse job wants me to start on monday. the thing i'm iffy about is that the greenhouse has a 2 week trial period for new hires where they make sure your fit for the job. meaning, if they don't like me after the two weeks, they won't keep me.

here's where i'm struggling. if i call out or don't show up to mcdonalds this week, i'm fired. and if i do the trial period and they end up not liking me, i'm completely out of a job. this would be fine if i wasn't paying a hefty rent right now, but i am.

my current options are :

  1. do the trial period, ultimately losing my current job and hoping the greenhouse likes me.

  2. not taking the greenhouse job at all and sticking with the one i'm trying to get away from.

  3. telling both the greenhouse and my current job that i can't start until the next week.

the last option seems the best but i would have to hope that my current job would be willing to not schedule me for 2 weeks for the trial period at the greenhouse, AND that the greenhouse would be willing to wait that long. i've already mentioned it to the people at the greenhouse that i'm worried that i could be out of a job by doing the trail period but they got really pissy about it really fast.

all opinions are helpful right now, i'm extremely stressed about it.

brain fog and headache after big meal

i'm suffering from awful brain fog and a massive headache (along with upset stomach) after eating a big meal and idk why. for context, i worked 9 hours today so i was fasting for most of it. i had some toast before work and a protein shake at work. once i got off i went home and had my usual dinner (salad with spinach, kale, cauliflower rice and avocado). i also usually have a smoothie in the mornings but i didn't have time today so i just had it with my dinner (spinach, kale, pb2 powder). these are all very low calorie but high volume things. and i also had decided to try a ninja creami that i had frozen the night before (lactose free fairlife, almond milk, sugar free oreos and lots of monkfruit sweetener). i had the whole pint cause it's extremely low calorie and most people say it's fine to eat the whole pint. the problem is, i had eaten all of this very quickly because i had friends coming over (probably ate it all in 1 1/2 hours) and now my head is killing me. i also feel like i'm high but in a bad way, like my brain is barely functioning. did i just eat too much too fast after not eating that much today or is something else wrong? i just took some tylenol and a hot shower to try and help the headache but now i just feel feverish. advice is appreciated. also I KNOW EATING THAT MUCH SO FAST WAS STUPID BUT I WAS HUNGRY AND HAD PLANS
