Friday, Sept 18: Vallejo, CA to Garberville, CA (A venue check through the Redwoods)
Saturday, Sept 19: Garberville, CA to Brookings, OR
Sunday, Sept 20: Brookings, OR to Florence, OR
Monday, Sept 21: Florence, OR to Lincoln City, OR
Tuesday, Sept 22: Lincoln City, OR to Long Beach, WA
Wednesday, Sept 23: Long Beach, WA to Port Townsend, WA
Thursday, Sept 24: Port Townsend, WA to Vancouver, BC (Anacortes ferry detour, international border crossing)
Phase 2: The Vancouver Mainland Stay TWO NIGHTS IN VANCOUVER
Friday, Sept 25: Vancouver, BC (Full day carving the Sea-to-Sky Highway up to Whistler)
Saturday, Sept 26: Vancouver, BC (Stanley Park loop, dim sum at Chef's Choice, and exploring Deep Cove)
Phase 3: The Telegraph Cove Wildlife & Fishing Block
Sunday, Sept 27: Vancouver to Telegraph Cove, BC - FIRST NIGHT IN TELEGRAPH COVE
Catch the early morning BC Ferry from Tsawwassen to Duke Point (Nanaimo). Roll off the ramp and point the front tires north up the remote, scenic Island Highway (BC-19 N). It’s a gorgeous 215-mile cruise straight into Telegraph Cove. Check into a historic wooden boardwalk cabin over the water.
Monday, Sept 28: Day 1 — The Master Salmon Charter
Head to the marina at dawn for your private ocean trolling charter. Fill the boat with your limits of rich Coho and buttery King salmon. Walk your catch right up the boardwalk to the local custom processor to get them portioned, vacuum-sealed, and flash-frozen solid for shipping.
Tuesday, Sept 29: Day 2 — Knight Inlet Grizzly Expedition
Board the specialized Tide Rip Grizzly Tours boat right from the cove. You'll blast across the strait into Knight Inlet, transfer to flat-bottom skiffs, and float the river estuaries to watch grizzlies snatch spawning salmon off the banks.
Wednesday, Sept 30: Day 3 — Orcas of the Johnstone Strait -LAST NIGHT IN TELEGRAPH COVE – 4 NIGHTS
Take a dedicated marine zodiac or covered cruise out to the Robson Bight area to see the resident and transient Orca pods hunting, or spend a relaxed day touring the historic boardwalk and the world-class Whale Museum.
Phase 4: The Cascades & High Desert Return Leg
Thursday, Oct 1: Telegraph Cove to Victoria, BC
A full day in the saddle. Ride 285 miles down the length of Vancouver Island, crossing the panoramic Malahat Pass, and stay overnight in downtown Victoria.
Friday, Oct 2: Victoria, BC to Winthrop, WA
Catch the early morning MV Coho ferry straight out of Victoria's inner harbor to Port Angeles, WA. Cross the Sound and head east to carve the stunning North Cascades Highway (WA-20).
Saturday, Oct 3: Winthrop, WA to Ellensburg, WA
Sunday, Oct 4: Ellensburg, WA to Crane Hot Springs, OR (Time for a long soak after weeks of riding)
Monday, Oct 5: Crane Hot Springs, OR to Klamath Falls, OR
Tuesday, Oct 6: Klamath Falls, OR to Vallejo, CA (Welcome home
