Gifting a 1 year subscription as a 'thank you' to Mechanicus friends

Hi everyone!

I've been obsessed with creating tools for Warhammer for a while now. What started as little tools for my friends exploded, and unfortunately I had to introduce subscriptions because I can’t afford to offer everything for free anymore. The costs are getting too high for me (but everything that was free still is, this only applies to new features).

This group has always been super supportive of me and my ideas, and I’d like to thank you all by gifting free subscriptions. Just register, ignore the subscription step, and send me a message with your email. I’ll activate 1 year of full access for you.

Here’s a quick summary of what the platform has (full descriptions below):

  • List Management: See any text list datasheets in one place, just paste any list and all the datasheets of that list will be shown.
  • Map Builder: Load or build your own maps and practice deployments in 2D or 3D
  • Battle Reports: Recreate your games phase by phase and turn by turn, then replay them whenever you want
  • Mathhammer: Paste 2 lists and compare all unit strengths and weaknesses by just clicking around.
  • Multiplayer: Load a map, create a room, and invite a friend to play, you can upload your own 3D models for your units. Includes dice rolls, measurements, and LOS, inspired by TTS, with full mobile compatibility.

You can paste any text list from any app and it will show all the datasheets, rules, and stratagems for that list. You can also attach units together, save your lists, and share them with anyone so they can view all the datasheets in one place. The goal is to avoid sharing those long, boring text lists with no information.

You can build your own maps or load one of the premade maps (11th edition maps available), then paste your list and practice deployments.

With the subscription, you can switch to a full 3D version of the map. You can also paste your list and all your units will automatically be available to deploy with the correct base sizes and line of sight based on their weapon ranges.

Every map is available in 3D, you can also replace the default models for your own 3D models

The Battle Report mode allows you to use the maps to recreate your games turn by turn and phase by phase. You can mimic movements, press play, and replay the entire game sequence as many times as you want, with visual effects for shooting, deaths, and explosions.

https://findmylist.net/mathammer

Mathhammer allows you to paste 2 lists and navigate between them to compare their strengths, weaknesses, and outcomes in simulated combats.

And finally, the multiplayer mode. Those who play TTS will be familiar with this. You can play a full game of Warhammer in a similar way, including using your own 3D models for your units, dice rolls, distances etc...

Just load a map, create a room, and share it with a friend. Both players can paste their lists and deploy units straight away. Full mobile compatibility means you can play anywhere you want.

Like many, I'm annoyed about the Yarrick fiasco, but this post is not about that at all, just slightly related. This morning I was playing around with the 11th edition maps released by GW itself, and I was struggling a lot to build them based on the measurements. It was literally impossible.

So I started to ignore the numbers and manually count the 1-inch squares, and boy, it all started to fit perfectly, the actual numbers are wrong. To give you an example, the one below on the GW release says 10'' to the right and 18.5'' to the bottom, but when you use that it goes to a completely different position. After counting the 1-inch squares, I realized that the actual measure is 17'' to the right and 11'' to the bottom, after using that it fit into place perfectly

I wasted so much time thinking I was going crazy moving things back and forth, because my first thought was not, "They released the numbers wrong." GW does not seem to be double checking their own releases at all , no matter if it is maps, digital content or whatever

I still have a lot to improve, but after the unexpected success of Find My List (success as in people using it, around 2k per day for the last few days, I haven't made any money out of it) I got into a Warhammer utility spree, over the weekend I worked on creating this one where you can build a map, drop units (edit: now you can paste your list and it will add all your units automatically in reserves, you just need to drag and drop) and practise around with LOS, I still have a lot to improve, I will make it so you paste your text list generated by any app and all the units are available to drag and drop. I added a couple of maps but you should be able to build your own, if you do please share it with me!
