The Best Madonna Album Ever
I'm not really sure where to start, and I don't know if anyone cares, but I just wanted to share my thoughts on the new album and this whole campaign. First of all, I’ve been feeling a little sad today because, in a way, the anticipation is over even though the album is out. The Madonna forums have been the best place to share our collective excitement and every little tidbit of information that’s trickled out about what we’d get after all that waiting. Nothing, however, could have prepared me for what we got today.
One of my favorite songs on the album is “Betrayal”—Madonna samples Eric Satie’s composition in such an incredibly beautiful way and sings about her stepmother—could it be any more beautiful? Another song that’s definitely one of the best is “Everything”—HOLY FUCK, what a great song, a real club banger!
I already know that *Confessions II* is going to be the album I listen to the most this year. I can’t wait until I know all the lyrics by heart, and it would be great to go to a Madonna concert, since I’ve never been to one before. I’ll say one thing: Every single song on this album is a perfect 10 for me—and I mean for me. You don’t have to agree with me, but in my opinion, this is Madonna’s best—or at least one of her best—albums ever. The whole production, the nuances, the details, and the vocals are FUCKING GREAT.
