Lane genuinely had the best run in the whole burst series

-Created a sparking bey

-Gets trained by THE Shu Kunerai

-Beats THE Free De La Hoya, a legendary blader and former world champion

-Creates a whole different bey with an unseen gimmick

-Beats THE Lui Shirosagi, another legendary blader

-Breaks a bey before the tournament

-Joins a tournament full of legends and proceeds to beat 3 of them in a battle royale

-Beats another 2 legends (although with help) in a 2v2

-Beats the current world champ Aiger Akabane in one round

-Breaks 2 beys at once and is the only character to do so

-Beats THE Valt Aoi, and wins the Legends Festival

-Evolves his bey again with another strong gimmick

-Beats Shu Kunerai

-Teams up with Shu and makes it to the finals in another tournament with legendary bladers

-Is the strongest of the generation at that time

A crazy serious amount of achievements for a ROOKIE blader

Someone else asked about them being in the Tag League so now I’m curious about the Legends Festival. If we keep the format the same we could Daigo in the first battle royale and Delta in the second one then have them be teamed up against Lui and Dante and we can go on from there

Besides the obvious fan service I feel like these two would’ve been great additions to the story. Firstly they both would have great dynamics with the twins and Lane, with Phi all three would definitely know who he is, especially Hikaru and Lane considering their connections to Shu and Aiger. Hikaru could have a grudge against Phi for breaking Achilles and see what Aiger had to go through when battling Phi while also showing development on how he no longer wants to destroy beys. Phi would also have an interest in Lane due to seeing his flare and reminisce about breaking beys/ dark resonance. With Gwyn I can see him being curious about Hyuga considering how opposite they are but also seeing his potential while showing the difference in their strategies. Gwyn would also have an eye towards Lane after seeing flare and Lucifer’s barrier, wondering how far he will evolve to defeat every legend. As a duo these 2 would genuinely be annoying to take down, 2 defense types belonging to really smart Bladers, while having high resonance would go crazy.

First rant I’ve ever done kinda nervous

For me definitely Hyde vs Aiger. Imagine being champion for a few days then losing it 4-0

I’d like a genuine explanation on what plot armor is and how it’s in beyblade

I just KNOW teams were praying not to battle these guys first

Phi - if he didn’t let Aiger go first to battle Valt he would’ve won and be WC

Arthur - Could’ve challenged Aiger to a champion match instead of a regular battle he had the power and gimmick to win

Gwyn - Same as Arthur he had the power and gimmick to become WC

Lane - Strongest of the new generation he already beat Aiger in a normal battle he definitely could’ve taken the path to WC

Just realized it’s like half the antagonists

For me it’s Laban.

I love his atheistic and his bey plus my favorite color is blue so I already resonated to him

He breaks Ashindra and Apocalypse

He created Apocalypse and helped create Brave Valkyrie

Although he has a small cameo in the Surge manga as a Legendary Blader he doesn’t speak or appear after the meeting

He damaged Imperial Dragon

Unlike the anime, he never joins the Victories

He has one of if not the highest number of shattering beys in the entire burst series

While in the anime he doesn’t really care about Arthur, he borderline hates him in the manga due to knowing he uses him for his intelligence

He was well aware of what beyblade was before ever coming in contact with Arthur and Dante

His pet hedgehog doesn’t exist

Unlike the anime where he has a battle with every legend the manga only has him battle 3 out of the 15 we’re shown (Free, Lui and Shu)

He knows how to spin steal against left spin beys

He made Hikaru quit beyblade for a bit

When he battles Hikaru and Hyuga he only breaks Helios

He breaks Ren Wu and Joshua’s beys

After beating Shu he becomes a legendary blader (Rank 2)

Unlike the anime he had a 1v1 against Hikaru (the battle that makes him quit

Unlike the anime he doesn’t break a single bey

He only battles 3 times (2 battles against Aiger and 1 against Laban)

He is the blading champion of North America

He doesn’t have dark resonance

He never gains Dread Phoenix

His last appearance was the legendary blader meeting

He never talks to Hyde once
