What if Shu joined BC SOL along with Valt and Rantaro joined the Raging Bulls instead, how much does the story change

Gabe - i didn’t care much for him during the time I first got into beyblade but after rewatching I’ve definitely have come to appreciate his screen time

Lane - He went from one of my disliked antagonists to my favorite, his story and motivation always interest me.

Fumiya - I used to hate this mf, but his interactions after losing to delta make me laugh so I tolerate him now.

Phelix - Didn’t care much for him either at first but now I’m disappointed he shows up for a few episodes and dips

Doesn’t have to be any of these specifically, just in general

Since the Battle Island doesn’t exist in the manga, Dante and Delta just participate in battles to challenge Aiger and then have a three way title match. One of them has to win 2 rounds in order to be champion

In the anime we’re rarely ever given characters concrete number ranking (off the top of my head I can name 4 instances of when it happens) and even then, certain things get a little confusing when you think about.

Take the GT 3 for example, they’re supposed to be the strongest of the GT generation yet we never got their rankings nor what it really took to be classified as one of them. The anime shows that Delta and Pheng won tournaments to be in the GT 3 and the former even brings up Blindt not being in a previous tournament. Yet Pheng stopped competing at a certain point and Blindt lost to Dante in an official tournament so shouldn’t their spots belong to someone else?

Same with the Turbo 4, we never got their rankings and they lose to Aiger in official battles who narratively should be ranked below them. Then there’s Kitt who was said to be moving up in the ranks too and also beats Aiger (who officially beat 3 of the Turbo 4) in an official battle, why aren’t they classified as Turbo 4 members at that point?

Then there’s the Legendary Bladers, who are considered S-rank but the anime never actually gives us their number ranking, we get that from the manga and they don’t make much sense when put together because 6 of the 15 legends aren’t brought up to be said that they are legends which means characters like Rantaro and Silas can’t be considered S-Rank 11 and 15 if they’re aren’t 15 S-Ranks. Lane should’ve been S-Rank too after beating Lui and especially after winning the Legends Festival. The manga doesn’t classify him as S-Rank till he defeats Shu.

The manga also treats being World Champion and Ranked #1 in the world as different things while the anime doesn’t. Aiger was still the WC in sparking but if his rank is #3 it makes no sense.

Plus how do they choose the number of people to be classified as the current generation’s strongest bladers? Why stop at 4 when there could be 5?

We never get Valt and Aiger’s ranks till they become WC but clearly they climb the ranks too. Red Eye battles Ghasem because he’s supposed to be a high ranking blader but nothing really showed up that. Kurt should’ve been long surpassed by everyone since he stopped participating.

He used an Arc Bahamut combo instead of a Hell Salamander combo.

In his battles against Dante he loses to Rock Dragon, while using Venom Diabolos and never battles Glyph Dragon

He defeated Fumiya in last year’s national tournament but never battles him on screen

He battles Joe in order to have a title match with Aiger

He never battles Blindt or Pheng. There’s no GT3 in the manga either.

Delta is one of 3 characters to participate in a three way title match, the other 2 or Dante and Aiger and coincidentally they’re also the only two characters to burst Venom Diabolos.

During the title match, he loses the first match to Aiger via double burst but wins via double ring out using momentum from Rock Dragon.

After Arthur breaks Erase Diabolos first, Delta is angry, instead of immediately having a depressive episode

Next time we see Delta he saves Imperial Dragon from Regelia Genesis and tells Gwyn he isn’t a true blader.

He never battles Arthur 1 on 1 nor does he battle Arman, instead, he is the one to challenge Gwyn and Arthur in a 2v2.

When Dante comments that Delta has gotten nicer, Delta tells him no he hasn’t and that he’ll make Dante regret it if they lose.

Since there was only 2 team battles Delta uses Right spin in the first one then left spin in the second. They also never push in Genesis’ blades.

After Genesis had damaged the Imperial layer, Delta gives Dante the Master layer in order to beat Gwyn.

During the Legendary Blader meeting, he is the first to notice the twins

He is 1 of 5 legends whose reaction to Lane beating Free we don’t see, the others being Valt, Shu, Aiger, Phi. Gwyn didn’t react.

He is 1 of 2 legends who have manga exclusive sparking beys, the other being Daigo.

When he first meets the twins, he has no interest in battling them, only being convinced by Valt to do so.

He and Dante never interact again outside of the Rise manga.

He is 1 of 3 legends who never battles the twins after they evolve their beys, the other 2 being Dante and Lui

Red eye is the only antagonist (the current one at the time) whose had his bey broken. In the anime Lui and Shu were former antagonists when their beys broke

When Shu injures his hand against Orochi, Xander is not there to help, only encountering Shu after when his hand is bandaged up.

He never battles Rantaro, Wakiya, Ken or Quon

He battles Valt and ends up shattering single layer Valkyrie but not without damaging Xcalibur.

He battles Orochi during the national tournament and wins. This the battle where he uses the sword launcher

Unlike the anime, his battle with Valt during the national tournament doesn’t have any simultaneous burst finishes and is the battle where he changes his launching mode. They do however have a simultaneous ring out finish that results in both beys hitting near their shoulders. Xanders face gets cut by Xcalibur after he loses.

He has a flash back of losing to Lui in the previous tournament.

In a special chapter, he shows up to try to fight Count Nightfell, who doesn’t want to fight him.

He is ranked 5th in the world during evolution

Ren Wu tries to beat him up because he ate his dessert

He only battles one person in the evolution part of the manga and that’s Valt, battling him during the Championship

He never battles anyone during the turbo manga but he is seen training Xavier, having him battle 200 bladers at once

He is 1 of 5 legends who never battle during the sparking manga and 1 of 4 who doesn’t receive a sparking bey

Daigo will forever be hoed for not being in the anime despite have a sparking bey and appearing in the manga (same with delta but this is about Daigo). They literally could’ve used him in the episode with Wakiya, having him be like “hold on I know a guy to be my partner type shi” instead of using Dante and have them be like an unofficial tag team, making them beat Aiger, Ranjiro and the twins till the twins win. Plus reuniting these mfs with Valt, Shu and Rantaro.

He’s shown first instead of Valt in the beginning and hits his nuts with a log

His battle with Valt is almost identical to its anime counterpart.

He doesn’t battle Fubuki, Ranjiro and Suoh till the Longinus Cup (which happens immediately after he meets them) and is the only time he battles against them

His first battle with Lui is in a 4v1 with Suoh, Ranjiro and Fubuki. Which they all lose

His second battle with Lui is only 2 rounds where he wins 2-1

Aiger is able to resonate before battle instead of just during. Which he does in several battles

After his win against Lui he battles Hae Jin, who couldn’t compete in the tournament due to archery.

He also battles Count Nightfell who uses Shadow Amaterios and loses 1-3.

After he becomes the Asia Champion he is invited to the Champions Carnival (the manga Battleship Cruise) where his first match is against Phi and loses 1-4.

Instead of gaining Xtend+ after his battle with Free, he gains it after his battle with Phi and goes on to battle Kyle, Laban, Xavier, Free and Hyde individually, winning each battle.

He never gets corrupt and uses dark resonance. Instead he believes that his strength alone is what lets him win, causing Achilles to not want to battle for him anymore, and shatter during its battle with Cho Z Valkyrie.

After Aiger upgrades to Cho Z Achilles, his first opponent is Phi who he beats 2-1.

He battles Count Nightfell again, but using Royal Spriggan and wins 2-0

He battles Dr. Evel, who comes to the school in search of Aiger and beats him 2-1

He also battles Shu, losing 1-0

Before his battle with Valt he hits himself in the balls again with a log.

During his final battle with Valt, he changes his launch form during the second round, managing to get a burst finish and causes Valt to change his launch form during the third round. They both manage to deactivate and reactivate their burst stoppers and Aiger wins just barely via spin finish.

Aiger battles Kitt after becoming Champion and wins. Aiger meets Dante immediately after the match who’s telling Aiger that Achilles is so cool.

Aiger never battles Arman or Arthur.

Instead of battling Dante and Delta separately he battles them together in a battle royale Title Match where you need 2 wins to become champion.

He wins the first round via double burst, loses the second and third via burst until the battle is interrupted by Arthur.

Aiger appears again at the end of the Rise manga when Valt is asking Bladers about a new bey system.

His only battle in the Sparking manga is a 1v2 against the twins where he loses to Hikaru.

Free is actually shown to be more intense in the manga. Getting more serious and gloating about who he is

Unlike the anime, he uses his left hand instead of his right to hand spin.

His glove was given by to stop him from biting his arm and as a promise to Kris to only battle seriously when he really needs to.

He never leaves BC SOL nor does he ever battle Red Eye or Lui

In his battle with Valt during the Championship, he loses the first round via burst. He also never battles ultimate reboot Valt, just regular strike Valkyrie.

He beats Laban before battling Aiger

He battles Aiger who already has Xtend+ and loses 2-3

He never battles Phi meaning Geist Fafnir never breaks

He actually appears in the GT manga, complimenting Dante on his plan to make a new bey and telling him to come battle him when he’s stronger.

His first battle in sparking is against Valt with there being no winner

Free has Mirage Fafnir when battling Lane and it’s the only time we see it burst.

His last battle in sparking is a battle royale that includes the twins and all BC SOL legends, with Free being rung out by Valt.

He never battles Ranzo in the DB manga and is actually the one to come to Phantom’s Gate to battle Bel. They have 2 battles, free wins the first one but loses the second one.

Like I do like the evolutions but these hold a special place in my heart

He kicks Valt in the balls

Instead of Nika being the reason for his arm injury, he messes up his hand by getting hit by Orochi from launching

After Valt and Lui’s match he’s recruited by the Snake Pit and never battles Free

His first battle as Red Eye is against Wakiya

His first battle with Valt only has one round

He has a 1v4 against Valt, Daigo, Rantaro and Wakiya. This battle shows the LS is dual spin

After defeating Joshua Burns, he becomes number 3 in the world.

Due to being 2 people he appears in the world ranking twice, 10th in the world as Shu, 3rd as Red Eye.

After LS breaks to Lui, the pieces break his mask. He also keeps LS instead of tossing it away.

When creating Requiem he uses traits from SGV, DF, NL, and, SX

Due to Boa and Norman not being in the Championship, he battles them outside the tournament, battling Boa when requiem is finished and breaking his bey and battling Norman after the tournament.

He meets Fubuki in a Spanish airport

He has one battle with Turbo Achilles Aiger and wins via spin finish

He appears in the sparking manga during Lane’s battle with Hikaru and Hyuga, telling Valt and Rantaro he’s his teacher.

He taught Lane Counter Break

He has only 2 battles in the sparking manga, both against Lane, the first one taking place in Paris and the second one happening offscreen.

He has one battle in the DB manga against Bel which he loses 1-2
