Rewatched last night, still one of my favorite sci-fi films. (Event Horizon, 1997)

Remember seeing this in the theater when it came out back in the day and despite the 90’s jumpscares, I still love it. Looking back, I especially love how far into cosmic horror it got too. And that was way before I loved cosmic horror as much as I do today.

Mouth of Madness is still a great film, and I love it too, but I think I’ll always like Event Horizon more. (Likely because I saw it first and I love sci-fi too)

Anyone else excited for Sinking City 2?!? Tentacles crossed that I get some free time this week to really dive into it.

Anyone going to be in Providence this week?

Sadly, we didn’t get our film ready in time to submit it here but still very glad cons like this exist and looking forward to sending projects there in the future!

In addition to filmmaking and location scouting, I love collecting different hot sauces from places I go. And not too long ago, I found myself down in Lafayette for a film festival and ended up getting to go to Avery Island where they make Tabasco sauce. Really cool museum there plus you can take factory tours!

🎬Poster for our indie, found-footage, cosmic horror film Dreams of a Dead God by the incredibly talented German graphic artist Maik Biersdorf.🖤

🏆 Very excited to share the news: our lead actress and one of my good friends, Cameron Crawford, won the award for Best Actress in a Short Film for our found-footage, cosmic horror film, Dreams of a Dead God! 🏆

Fairly new to 3D design, but think this turned out alright. My idea for what I called a “Shadow Caster” and used as one of the prizes we’re giving out.

Saw an article a few weeks ago about the game studio adapting Dredge into film. Great game that I’ve played through a couple of times, but game to film adaptations are tricky.

Life-long HR Giger fan and just randomly found this group. Actually went to the film museum in Frankfurt a few years back and got to see this: an actual stunt suit designed by Giger and used in the first film!
