Sharing Content from Hulu+/Disney+

Hello, all,

I have a dilemma that, perhaps, I can get some support with. I teach a human development class over the summer and I would like to share an episode from a television show that is streaming on Disney+/Hulu+. I tried last year and only audio would come through. I was just on Chat Support with Disney+, and they stated that I should be able to share it without any issues. I looked on Zoom and found some troubleshooting help, but it only got me so far. Some of the instructions could not be followed (e.g., the directory location they told me to go to doesn't exist). Has anyone ever had an issue with sharing video on Zoom, specifically able to share audio but not video, and were able to fix it? Any support would be greatly appreciated!

UPDATE: spoke with folks at Disney + and Hulu. Disney says I should be able to share. Hulu says I can do a watch party only with people who have the bundle. 🙄

“The Body”

Hello, all. I teach a human development course across the lifespan. Last year, i streamed The Body in class when we talked about grief. It’s a Zoom class and Tubi was the only platform that allowed Zoom to share the screen. I have Disney+/Hulu, and Zoom cannot share that tab. Does anyone know of other platforms that might allow this?

Transportation Question

Greetings, all!

I've posted here a few times already and have appreciated the plethora of advice and suggestions offered by all of you. You are truly appreciated.

My husband and I have been doing some light planning with what we want to do and see while we are there for our month-long visit. Given I will be teaching virtually 2 nights a week and seeing my own clients once a week, we've scheduled a couple activities (Operation: Mincemeat in Brighton, Oh, Mary! in London, and are thinking of two nights in Dublin). He suggested we rent a car for a period of time while we are there. My thoughts are to use public transportation as much as possible. A few places we've been thinking about checking out are the Seven Sisters White Cliffs, Arundel Castle, and possibly Canterbury. We are thinking of a day trip to Paris on the Eurostar as well.

I don't think renting a car for intermittent periods of time is cost effective when there may be other avenues to getting to places. I would appreciate your thoughts, perspectives, and suggestions.

Layover Question

My husband and I are flying from Boston to Gatwick in 2 weeks, with a 90 minute layover in Keflavik. Since we won’t have to worry about Shengen, I’m assuming there won’t be anything we need to worry about regarding delays of any sort with border control, correct?

We did a similar flight to Paris almost 2 decades ago for our honeymoon and all I can remember is being groggy af, trying to be nice the border person and them not having any of my niceities. I can be overly nice and it was just before sunrise, so I’m not in the least bothered by their lack of responsiveness to my niceness. Lots of folks cannot stomach cheery people in the morning, especially around sunrise.

Greetings, all,

My husband and I will be visiting you folks in a few weeks. My husband is having a milestone birthday while there. Any recommendations for a nice restaurant to celebrate? We would prefer a quiet place, no singing from anyone. Just a lovely meal and warm, friendly vibes. Thanks in advance!
